B.E / B.Tech / B.Arch / BDS Entrance Examination 2014 :
Our University is conducting All India Level Entrance Examination, SATHYABAMA UNIVERSITY ENTRANCE EXAMINATION – 2014

Eligibility Criteria for the above Courses :
FOR ALL B.E. / B.Tech COURSES (OTHER THAN BIOTECHNOLOGY, BIOINFORMATICS AND BIOMEDICAL) :
Should have passed in HSC (10 + 2) from any State board or CBSE/ICSE with Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, with a minimum aggregate of 60% in Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry.
Candidates who are appearing for HSC (10+2) Examination in March/April, 2014 can also apply and their admission is subject to successful completion of HSC/ICSE with a minimum of 60% in Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry.
Candidates should have passed 10th class or equivalent examination either in April 2011 or after, with a minimum aggregate marks of 60%.
Candidates who have passed HSC (10+2) before April, 2013 are not eligible to apply.

FOR B.Tech – BIOTECHNOLOGY, BIOINFORMATICS AND BIOMEDICAL COURSES :
Should have passed in HSC (10 + 2) from any State board or CBSE/ICSE with Mathematics/Biology, Physics, Chemistry, with a minimum aggregate of 60% in Mathematics/Biology, Physics and Chemistry.
Candidates who are appearing for HSC (10+2) Examination in March/April, 2014 can also apply and their admission is subject to successful completion of HSC with a minimum of 60% in Mathematics/Biology, Physics and Chemistry.
Candidates should have passed 10th class or equivalent examination either in April 2011 or after, with a minimum aggregate marks of 60%.
Candidates who have passed HSC (10+2) before April, 2013 are not eligible to apply.

FOR B.Arch COURSE :
Should have passed in HSC (10 + 2) from any State board or CBSE/ICSE with Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, with a minimum aggregate of 60% in Mathematics Physics and Chemistry.
Should have secured a minimum of 80 marks (Out of 200) in National Aptitude Test in Architecture (NATA), conducted by Council of Architecture.
Candidates who are appearing for HSC (10+2) Examination in March/April, 2014 can also apply and their admission is subject to successful completion of HSC with a minimum of 60% in Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry.
Candidates should have passed 10th class or equivalent examination either in April 2011 or after, with a minimum aggregate marks of 60%.
Candidates who have passed HSC (10+2) before April, 2013 are not eligible to apply.

FOR BACHELOR OF DENTAL SURGERY (BDS) COURSE :
Should have passed in HSC (10 + 2) from any State board or CBSE/ICSE with Biology, Physics, Chemistry, with a minimum aggregate of 60% in Biology, Physics and Chemistry.
Candidates who are appearing for HSC (10+2) Examination in March/April, 2014 can also apply and their admission is subject to successful completion of HSC with a minimum of 60% in Biology, Physics and Chemistry.
Candidates should have passed 10th class or equivalent examination either in April 2011 or after, with a minimum aggregate marks of 60%.
Candidates who have passed HSC (10+2) before April, 2013 are not eligible to apply.

How to Apply :
To apply for Entrance Examination, the eligible candidate may choose any one of the following options :

1. PURCHASING APPLICATION FORM :
Eligible candidates can buy the application form on payment of Rs. 750/- at the major Post Office and Indian Bank Branches, throughout India. (The list of Post offices and Indian Bank Branches are available in the University Website). Filled in applications should be sent to “Registrar, Sathyabama University, Jeppiaar Nagar, Rajiv Gandhi Salai, Chennai 600119″”, on or before 15th March, 2014.
APPLICATIONS RECEIVED AFTER THE DUE DATE WILL BE SUMMARILY REJECTED

2. ONLINE APPLICATION :
Student can also use Online application available at www.sathyabamauniversity.ac.in.
Students opting for online application should fill in the application, and should verify all the details entered. After the verification of the details, payment of Rs. 750/- should be made either by using Net Banking Facility/Credit Cards(VISA and Master)/Debit Cards(VISA and Master) or by challan payment at any one of the Indian Bank branches.
APPLICATIONS WITHOUT FEE PAYMENT WILL NOT BE CONSIDERED FOR WRITING ENTRANCE EXAMINATION..

This application online facility enables you to submit your application online. The following steps are involved in submitting your application:
Create a new application account for you.
Login to your application account.
Fill up the required details in the application form.
Pay the application fee by credit card / debit card / online banking.

** Please read the instructions carefully before you fill up the B.E / B.Tech / B.Arch / BDS Entrance Examination online application form.
** You will receive SMS and email updates about your application status.
** Alternatively, you can also login to your application account to view your profile and application status.

Important Dates :
Issue of Application Forms 06-12-2013 (FRIDAY)
Last date for Submission of filled in Application Forms 15-03-2014 (SATURDAY)
Date of Entrance Examination 13-04-2014 (SUNDAY)
Examination Timing 2PM – 5PM
