Eligibility conditions :
Unmarried Male Indian Citizens and subjects of Nepal and Bhutan.
Educational Qualifications : Qualified in 10+2/ equivalent examination with Maths & Physics and atleast one of these subjects; Chemistry/Biology/Computer science.
Age : Candidates should have been born between 01 Aug 1993 to 31 Jul 1997 (Both dates inclusive).

Selection Criteria : Selection of recruits is based on the order of merit on their performance in Written Test, qualifying Physical Fitness Test (PFT) and fitness in the Medical Examinations.
1. Written Test :
(a) The question paper will be bilingual (Hindi & English) and objective type.
(b) The question paper will comprise of four sections i.e. English, Science,Mathematics and General Knowledge.
(c) The standard of the question pa per will be that of 10+2 and the syllabus for the examination is available on website
(d) Duration of question paper will be of one hour.
(e) The candidates are required to pass in all sections and in aggregate.

2. Physical Fitness Test (PFT): PFT will consist of 1.6 Km run to be completed in 7 minutes, 20 squat ups (Uthak Baithak) and 10 Push-ups. Candidates undergoing PFT will do so at their own risk.

3. Medical Standards :
(a)Medical examination will be conducted by authorised military doctors as per medical standard prescribed in current regulations applicable to sailors on entry.
(b) Minimum height 157 cms. Weight and Chest should be proportionate. Minimum Chest expansion of 5 cms.
(c)Good mental,medical and physical health free fro many disease/ disability, likely to interfere with efficient performance of duties. Colour perception : CP II.
(d) No Cardio- vascular disease, surgical deformities like knock knee, flat feet etc. infection of ears, no history of fits or psychiatric ailment, varicose vein, corrective surgery for eye sight etc.
(e) Medical standard should be as per the detailed guidelines issued by IHQ MoD (Navy) in NO (Spl) 01/2008.

Without Glasses : Better Eye-6/6; Worse Eye-6/9 ;
With Glasses : Better Eye-6/6; Worse Eye-6/6 ;

How to Apply :
i) For this entry the candidates can apply ONLINE ONLY , MANUALLY FILLED APPLICATIONS WILL BE REJECTED. The procedure for the same is as follows;
(a) Online Application Form. Candidates are to apply online through website from 23 Nov 13.

(b) Before filling online application, keep matric certificate & 10+2 Mark sheet ready for reference.

(c) Filling up of information like email id is compulsory.

(d) Click on “Sailors Entry” button under apply online on the home page of website

(e) Fill up the form completely. Before clicking the ‘Submit’ button make sure all the details are correct.

(f) Print two copies of the online application form. One copy duly signed, alongwith attested copies of matriculation certificate, 10+2 marksheet, domicile, NCC Certificate (if held) & one self addressed envelop of size 22×10 cms with Rs 10/- stamp affixed on envelope to be forwarded at the address above advertisement link..

(g) Write on the envelop “Online SSR Application -02/14 batch & 10+2 percentage..

  6. I have 60% in M COM and applied for logistic in navy. Is there any chance to get SSB call for upcoming course in June 2014?

    1. Selection Procedure : The candidates will be issued call up for Services Selection Board (SSB) based on their performance in Degree Course. If a candidate possesses higher qualification with better percentage, his higher qualification will be considered for cut off. Integrated Headquarters,Ministry of Defence (Navy) reserves the right to shortlist applications and to fix cut off percentage.No communication will be entertained on this account. SSB interviews for short listed candidates will be scheduled at Bangalore/Bhopal/Coimbatore during Jan 14 to May 14.

  7. When will I get my navy SSC log June 2014 course admit card? I attested only 10+2th not attested 10th. What happen either they consider my application or not ? My percentage upto degree distinction and PG have first class. What is my chances?

    1. Admit card is not available in the website yet. Once the authorities published in the website you may be able to know about your chances.

    1. Reporting point of view has to be reported before 2 months and interview schedule is going to held from February.2014, December is on ending side. So how will it be possible? What may be the cutoff for NAIC/Education/Logistics ? & Total seats for recruitment ?

    2. We could not provide you the details unless the authorities announce in the website. You have to wait to know your answer.

    1. I would assume that time also should have been mentioned in your call letter. If they call you on Wednesday be prepared to reach destination from your home town in advance.

    2. When will be the announcement of result for NAIC/Education/Log? Is there any possibilities to declare result for an interview at January 14?

    1. The candidates should not be colour/night blind & must be physically fit according to
