The University of Hyderabad invites applications for teaching positions at the levels of Assistant Professor, Associate Professor and Professor in its various Schools, Departments and Centre’s. The recruitment shall be made in accordance with the UGC Regulations on minimum qualifications for appointment of teachers and other academic staff in universities and colleges and measures for the maintenance of standards in higher education 2010.

Eligibility Criteria:
1) Required essential qualifications for the posts of Professor, Associate Professor and Assistant Professor are as prescribed in “UGC Regulations on minimum qualifications for appointment of teachers and other academic staff in Universities and Colleges and measures for the maintenance of standards in higher education 2010 “ (Referred herein after as UGC Regulations-2010). 2) Only candidates with “Good Academic Record“shall be eligible for consideration.

Registration fee : Rs. 1,000/- + Bank Charges Rs. 25/- for candidates under ‘General’ and ‘OBC’ categories, or Rs.300/- + Bank Charges Rs. 25/- for candidates under ‘SC/ST/PWD’ category ( whether the post is reserved for these categories or not ), or U.S. $ 20 (U.S. Dollars) + $ 1 Bank Charges, for candidates applying from abroad and wish to pay the amount in foreign currency

A crossed Demand Draft for Rs. 1,000/- for candidates under ‘General’ and ‘OBC’ categories, or Rs.300/- for candidates under ‘SC/ST/PWD’ category ( whether the post is reserved for these categories or not ), or Demand Draft for U.S. $ 20 (U.S. Dollars), for candidates applying from abroad and wish to pay the amount in foreign currency, drawn in favour of the Finance Officer, University of Hyderabad, payable at Hyderabad (Andhra Pradesh), India, should be sent with the application towards registration fee (non-refundable). Separate application along with a separate Demand Draft must be submitted if a candidate wants to apply for more than one post. The Demand Draft must be placed/tagged at the top of the application.

How to Apply :
i) The applicant has to submit his/her application online as well as hard copy with relevant enclosures and send to the address mentioned below

ii) Enclose good and clear copies (not originals) of certificates / publications/pre-prints/reprints etc., to the application as proof of each information (date of birth, qualifications, experience,. publications claim for API score, etc.) furnished in the application. Write ‘Enclosure sl.no._____ ‘ (as mentioned/filled in the application) at the right top corner of each copy of the certificate/document enclosed to the application

iii) Finally, after attending to the requirements as mentioned above, send the application in a good envelope [please write on the top left side of the envelope the name of the post with subject & specialization (if any), SC/ST/OBC/PWD/General, etc.] to the
