Applications are invited for admission to the MCA course 2014-15 in the following Centres.

Name of the Course : Master of Computer Applications (MCA)
Duration : 6 semesters.

Eligbility:
a. Candidate should have any bachelor’s degree under 10+2+3 pattern of education with Computer science/Computer application/ Mathematics/ Statistics/ Engineering and Technology as one of the main or subsidiary subject with at least 50 % or equivalent CGPA aggregate.
b. A relaxation of 5% mark shall be given to SCBC and PH candidates.
c. SC/ST candidates need to get only a pass in their qualifying examination.

Entrance Examination : The examination will be of 2 hours duration and will have 100 objective type questions of 1 mark each from the disciplines as noted below.

Mathematics 30%
Statistics 10%
Physics 10%
Chemistry 10%
Reasoning 10%

How to Apply :
1 Applications are to be submitted on line from 09.06.2014 to 28.06.2014, 5 P.M through Calicut University website

2 Signed print out of application bearing Passport size Photograph attested by the Gazetted Officer along with
(i) the original chalan receipt for having remitted the fee of Rs.300/- (Rs.100/- for SC/ST candidates on the basis of valid community certificate issued by the competent authority) to Calicut University Funds at Calicut University Fee Counter/Calicut University Janasevanakendra/Akshaya Centres/through SBT e-payment/online Banking (SBT)
(ii) attested copies of certificates as proof of qualifications, age and community should be forwarded to the

3 The online Registration I.D.No. should be written by the candidate on reverse side of the chalan receipt/DD as the case may be. This I.D.No should also be mentioned by the candidate in all future communications.

4 Applicants can download their hall ticket from the website using their online registration number.
