Applications on prescribed format are invited for contractual hiring under NRHM for the post of Medical Officer (MBBS) against the vacant posts in various health institutions of the State in Category A (in accessible areas), Category B (very difficult), Category C (difficult) & other places from the State Subjects of J&K. Applications as per the prescribed format along with the Xerox copies of relevant documents should reach the Office of National Rural Health Mission Jammu/ Srinagar on or before 24th December 2013.

These posts are purely on temporary basis and services of the doctors will be hired initially upto ending March 2013 and can be extended further based on their performance. The selected candidates shall have to mandatorily stay at the place of posting.

Age: Maximum age limit upto 65 years.

Qualification: MBBS degree recognized by Medical Council of India.

Remuneration:
Rs. 45000 per month for Category A areas
Rs. 40000 per month for Category B areas
Rs. 35000 per month for Category C areas
Rs. 25000 per month for other area.

Note:
1. The List. of vacancies is indicative in nature and the number may increase or decrease subject to the permissibility conveyed by MoH&FW, GoI and any other vacancy which may arise during the selection process.

2. Based on the domicile, the district wise merit list of the candidates shall be prepared on the basis of marks obtained during MBBS (Cumulative marks obtained in all the years); and the candidates shall be called for counseling and allotment of institutions as per the order in merit list. The selection of candidates’ for the institutions where the candidates from within the district are not available shall be made out of the general merit list prepared for all districts after counseling.

3. Candidates who have obtained their degrees from foreign universities, their merit shall be calculated on the basis of criteria adopted by J&K Public Service Commission.
