KIIT University, Bhubaneswar is Organizing the All India Inter Zonal Inter University Badminton(Men& Women) Tournament for the 2013-14 will be conducted at its Indoor Stadium, from 24th to 29th December 2013.

On behalf of Dr A. Samanta, our Hon’ble Founder, KIIT University and the Organizing Committee, I extend a warm welcome to all the participating teams.

1. KIIT University is in the heart of the capital city Bhubaneswar. The City of Temples Bhubaneswar is well Connected with train & Bus Services from all parts of India. Bhubaneswar Railway Station is about 13 Km far from University Campus.

2. The University will provide transportation from Railway Station to KIIT University Campus, If detail information regarding arrival at Bhubaneswar will be provided to us well in time .For Your Convenience a Reception Booth will established at Railway Station from Where the Reception Committee will look after your transportation.

3. The Team will be provided accommodation at the Hostels in the University Campus. The teams are requested to bring their own warm clothes and lock. Accommodation will be provided one day before the start of the Tournament.

4. Organizing Secretary reserves the right to make changes of the venue, time and date of matches.

5. All matches will be played in accordance with rules of Badminton Association of India (BAI) rules as adopted by AIU, New Delhi.

6. Players are required to bring their Identity card of the Current session, duly signed by the Competent Authority .Umpiring/Officiating charges shall be Rs 700/-(Rupees Seven hundred only) per match.

7. Caution deposit of Rs 1000/- has to paid by the team manager to the accommodation in charge and the same will be refunded after adjustment of cost of damages, if any. 8. The meeting of all the managers will be conducted on 24.12.13 at 10.am in the office of the under signed at the Indoor Stadium of the University at Kathajodi Campus. 9. Participating team must bring their University Flag, and will have to participate in the March Past at the time of Opening Ceremony Scheduled to be held on 24.12.13 at 5pm.
