Educational qualification :
(i) Irrigation Department, U.P. : Essential- Assistant Engineer Civil/Mechanical- Must possess a degree in Civil or Mechanical Engineering as the case may be, from an Institution or University recognised by the Government; or, be a qualified Associate Member of the Institution of Engineer (India) Civil Engineering Branch or Mechanical Engineering Branch, as the case may be.

(ii)Minor Irrigation Department : Essential- Assistant Engineer- Agriculture/Civil/Mechanical
Must possess a Bachelor degree in Agricultural/Civil or Mechanical Engineering or a degree recognised by the Government as equivalent thereto or has passed Associate Membership Examination in Section “A” and “B” in Civil or Mechanical Engineering from Institution of Engineers (India).

(iii) Rural Engineering Services Department : Essential- Assistant Engineer- Civil/Electrical
Must possess (A) a Bachelor degree in Civil or Electrical Engineering froman Institution or University recognised by theGovernment; or
(B) has passed AssociateMembership Examination in Section “A” and “B” inCivil orElectrical orMechanicalEngineering fromInstitution ofEngineers (India).

(iv) Public Works Department (P.W.D.): Essential- Assistant Engineer- Civil
Must possess a Bachelor degree in Civil Engineering from a University established by law in India or a qualification recognised by the Government as equivalent thereto.

(v) Land Development and Water Resources Department: Essential- Bhoomi Sanrakshan Adhikari/ Technical Officer
Must possess Bachelor degree in Agricultural/Civil Engineering from a University established by law in India or a qualification recognised by the Govt. as equivalent thereto.

(vi) Ground Water Department, U.P.: Assistant Engineer (Civil/Mechanical)- Essential
Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering from a recognised Institution or a University established by law in India or Associate Member of the Institution of Engineers (India) (Civil Engineering Branch)/a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from a recognised Institution or a University established by law in India or Associate Member of Institution of Engineers (India) (Mechanical Engineering Branch) as the case may be, or a degree recognised by the Government as equivalent thereto

Age Limit : Candidates must have attained the age of 21 years and must not have crossed the age of 40 years on July 1, 2013 i.e. they must have not been born earlier than 2nd July, 1973 and not later than July 1, 1992.

How to Apply :
Candidates after submitting their applications through On-Line shall send photocopies of their all academic/required documents regarding their claims alongwith print out of On-Line application forms by means of Personally/Speed Post/Registered Post in any working days latest by dated 03 February, 2014 till 5.00 O’ Clock and must ensure for submission in the office of the Commission. For this purpose the candidates are advised to download address slip from Commission’s website and to paste it on the envelope containing documents
