Merit-cum-Means Based Scholarship For Minorities :
Objective :
The objective of the scheme is to provide financial assistance to the poor and meritorious students belonging to minority communities (Sikhs, Muslims, Christians, Buddhists & Parsis) to enable them to pursue professional and technical courses.

Eligibility & Conditions for Scholarship :
i) The annual income of the beneficiary/parent or guardian of beneficiary should not exceed Rs. 2.50 lacs from all sources.
ii) Scholarship is awarded to the students who have secured not less than 50% marks or equivalent grade in the previous final examination
iii) Continuation of the scholarship in subsequent years will depend on successful completion of the course during the preceding year.
iv) A scholarship holder under this scheme will not avail any other scholarship/stipend for pursuing the course.
v) A student residing in Punjab State is entitled for scholarship under the quota of that State irrespective of his place of study.
vi) Income certificate should be on self certification basis by way of an affidavit on non-judicial stamp paper for self-employed parents/guardian and from employer for employed parents/guardian.

Post Matric & Merit-cum-Means Based Scholarship For Minorities :
Objective :
The objective of the scheme is to award scholarship to meritorious students belonging to economically weaker sections of minority community (Sikhs, Muslims, Christians, Buddhists and Parsis) so as to provide them better opportunities for higher education, increase their rate of attainment in higher education and enhance their employability.

Eligibility & Conditions for Scholarship :
i) The annual income of the student parents/guardian from all sources does not exceed Rs. 2 lacs.
ii) Scholarship is awarded to the students who have secured not less than 50% marks or equivalent grade in the previous final examination.
iii) The renewal of scholarship will be discontinued if a student fails to secure 50% marks or equivalent grade in the previous final examination.
iv) Scholarship will not be given to more than two students in a family.
v) The student should be resident of Punjab State.
vi) The student should be regular in attendance.
vii) Income certificate should be on self certification basis by way of an affidavit on non-judicial stamp paper for self-employed parents/guardian and from employer for employed parents/guardian.
viii) A scholarship holder under this scheme will not avail any other scholarship/stipend for pursuing the course.
