Walk-in-Interview will be held on 18-02-2014, at 10.30 hrs. at National Academy of Agricultural Research Management (NAARM), Rajendranagar, Hyd.-30, for engagement of RESEARCH ASSOCIATE and SENIOR RESEARCH FELLOW (1 post each), on contractual basis, to work in the following time-bound PDFMD-PDADMAS Collaborative Project based at th Academy. The eligibility criteria and other terms and conditions for the positions are as under
Name of the project : “Assessment of the Socio-economic Impact of FMD and its Control in India”.
Number of posts : Two (02)
Period : 14 months (upto March, 2015) (or co-terminus with the project, whichever is earlier ).
(1) Name of the posts : Research Associate
Remuneration : Rs.23,000/- per month + HRA ( Rs.24,000/- p.m. + HRA for Doctoral Degree Holders).
Age Limit : Men: 40 years – Women: 45 years
Educational Qualifications :
Essential:
(i) Ph.D Degree in Agriculture and allied Sciences/Veterinary Science / Economics / Social Work / Rural Development / Business Management/Business Administration (OR)
(ii) Master’s Degree in Agriculture and allied Sciences/Veterinary Science/Economic/Social Work/Rural Development / Masters’ Degree in Business Management/ MBA with 1st Division or 60% marks or equivalent OGPA with atleast 2 years research experience as evidenced from Fellowship / Associateship / Training / other engagements. Published research papers will be desirable.
(2) Name of the posts : Senior Research Fellow
Remuneration : Rs.16,000/- per month + HRA ( Rs.18,000/- p.m. + HRA for PG in Veterinary Science).
Age Limit : Men: 35 years – Women: 40 years
Educational Qualifications :
Essential: Master’s Degree in Agriculture and allied Sciences / Veterinary Science / Economics / Social Work / Rural Development / Masters’ Degree in Business Management/MBA.
Desirable :
(i) Willing to travel extensively to collect socio-economic data from different stake holders
(ii) Proficiency in Computer skills.

Disease Investigation, Veterinary Biological & Research Institute,
Shantinagar, Hyd-500028.
Mode of engagement : Purely on Contract (Temporary) basis and co-terminus with the project.

The candidates should present themselves for certificate verification at the same venue one hour prior to the scheduled interview timings. The candidates should bring a latest Passport size Photograph and all original certificates starting from Matriculation till highest degree, together with their attested photocopies for this interview. No separate call letter for the interview shall be issued. The position is purely temporary on contractual basis and co-terminus with the project, i.e., upto the end of March 2015. NAARM, Hyderabad or PD-ADMAS, Bangalore, will not be held responsible to give regular appointment after expiry of the project. No TA/DA will be admissible for attending the interview.
