The State Government was for sometime considering a proposal for augmentation of the present strength of technical manpower under West Bengal Tourism Development Corporation Ltd. (WBTDCL), which is the main implementing agency and is presently looking after development & maintenance of all State Tourist Lodges as well as new tourist related development project.
1. Name of the post : Deputy General Manager (Technical)
(Rank-Superintending Engineer in the Engineering Departments of the State/Central Government).
No. of post : 1 (one)
Qualification: Engineering Degree (B.E./B. Tech) from a recognised University/Institution.
Experience : Minimum 10 (ten) years of service with at least 3 (three) years experience in the rank of Superintendent Engineer.
Age: Should not be more than 62 years of age at the time of appointment.
2. Name of the post : Deputy Manager (Technical) one civil and one electrical
(Rank – Executive Engineer in any of the Engineering Departments of the State/Central Government).
No. of post : 2 (two)
Qualification : The officer must have a basic Engineering Degree (B.E./B. Tech) in Civil/Mechanical/Electrical from a recognised University/Institution.
Experience : Must have work experience of at least 7 (seven) years in the project formulation and implementation in the respective stream of engineering.
Age : Should not be more than 62 years of age at the time of appointment.
3. Name of the post : Assistant Manager (Technical) one civil and one electrical
(Rank -Retired Assistant Engineer in any of the Engineering Departments of the State/Central Government).
No. of post : 2 (two) posts
Qualification : The candidate must have a Degree/Diploma in Civil/Electrical engineering from a recognised University/Institution.
Experience : Must have worked in the rank of Assistant Engineer or similar rank for at least a period of five years.
Age : Should not be more than 62 years of age at the time of appointment.
