Steps To Public Data Entry

1. Enter the required information.
2. Eleven digit Data Entry Number is generated. Please note down this number.
3. For any modification use eleven digit Data Entry Number and password you have created for that entry. So please remember the password.
4. Note Data Entry Number and carry this to SRO office.
5. Entered information will be available at SRO office for Registration.
6. For offices in concurrent jurisdiction, you can go to any SR office with Data Entry Number, irrespective of the office chosen at the time of data entry.
7. Once entry is complete you may take a printout of the data entry. Please read the printout carefully. Corrections can be made using previous button.
8. This data enry does not mean that document is accepted for registration. SRO officer has authority to Reject the document or he may change it as per the rules

How To Calculate Stamp Duty for articles other than Leave & Licenses? :
When the 11 Digit Code is generated? :
After entering the details on Presentation Detail 1 and Presentation Detail2 screens , the eleven digit number code is generated.

What to do , If any Stamp Node is not calculating the stamp Duty correctly or if Any stamp node is not seen in the stamp duty calculation? :
Select any other stamp node. Enter other details and go to SRO office with the eleven digit code. Inform the officer about the required change. The SRO office is authorized to do the corrections in the entry. After this the token can be taken for registration.

Where to go for Registration of Document? :
On the last screen of Public Entry Software displays the possible offices where the registration can be done. The Party can go to any of these offices.

Please Note :
Receipt is generated on Presenter’s Name which is entered on Presentation Detail1 Screen.
