‘UNESCO Heritage Forts Photography Competition-2014’
RULES:
1. The theme of the Photography contest is -The ”Six Hill Forts of Rajasthan- UNESCO World Heritage Site” The following are the Six Hill Forts- Ranthambore Fort (Sawai Madhopur District), Chittorgarh Fort ( Chittorgarh District), Jaisalmer Fort (Jaisalmer), Kumbhalgarh Fort (Rajasmand District), Amber Fort (Jaipur District) and Gagron Fort (Jhalawad District)
2. Participation can be done in either of the 2 categories
(i) Professional
or
(ii) Amateur
in “World Heritage list” in 2013.
3. Each photograph must be accompanied with a brief information-
(i) NAME OF FORT
(ii) DATE OF PHOTOGRAPH – (After 01.01.2014)
4. Photos can be submitted in color or Black and white.
5. Photos taken by mobile phones will not be accepted.
6. Only single exposed photographs will be accepted. Please don’t submit multiple exposure images.
7. Each participant can submit twelve photographs only which must be in JPEG format with 3000 pixels on the longer side and 200 dpi.
8. Photos with borders, added background and special effects will not be accepted.
9. Photo of another person’s artwork shall not be accepted.
10. Editing of photograph with software can be done only within the purview of conventional darkroom techniques, without altering the photo’s content.
11. Please do not put watermarks or text on photographs.
12. Submitted photograph must not infringe upon another persons copyright, intellectual property right, trademarks etc.
13. RHMDA and Department of Art and Culture, Government of Rajasthan will have the copyrights of all the photos submitted in the contest. Credit to the photographer will be given whenever the photo is used.
14. Decision of the jury will be final.
15. Prizes will be announced in both Professional and Amateurs categories.
