A Walk-in-Interview will be held on 26.11.2013 at 11-00 A.M for selection of bonafide Indian citizens for the following positions in a project entitled “Development of Novel CSIR Technologies for Manufacturing Tailored and Patent-Specific”, tenable at CSIRCGCRI, Kolkata
1.Position Code : PF-01

Qualification & Age (as on 01.10.2013) : B.E/B.Tech in Metallurgical Engg/Ceramic Engg./Material Science/Mechanical Engg./Bio-technology/Biomedical Engg. with at least 55% marks or M.Sc. (Inorganic/Physical Chemistry) with at least 55% marks.
Desirable: NET/GATE qualification. Metals and ceramic processing/fabrication, surface modification by laser, mechanical or chemical technique, Laser based manufacturing, corrosion and cell material interactions.

Qualification & Age (as on 01.10.2013) : B.E/B.Tech in Ceramic Engg./Tech./Chemical Engg./Material Science/Nano Science & Tech./ with at least 55% marks or M.Sc. in Chemistry (Inorganic/Analytical Physical) with at least 55% marks
Desirable: NET/GATE qualification. One year working experience in processing of ceramic materials/analytical chemistry.

Qualification & Age (as on 01.10.2013) : B.E/B.Tech in Mechanical engineering/Bio-medical Engineering/Metallurgy & Materials Engg. With at least 55% marks Or
M.Sc. in Physics with at least 55% marks Desirable: NET/GATE qualification. Proficiency in high level computer languages – C/C++, FORTRAN etc. And working exposure to Finite Element Analysis preferably for Stress Analysis of Structures and Engineering Components using packages such as ANSYS/ABQUS/MSC.MARC/ALTAIR HYPEWRWORKS etc.

ii) Interested candidates are requested to attend the above Walk-in-Interview along with Application Form & Bio-Data in the prescribed format as given hereinunder, duly filled in all the columns enclosing self attested copies of each supporting documents/certificates. The original certificates should also be brought with him/her at the time of interview for verification. The candidates should carry copies of their project thesis with them, if any. The candidates should report at least one hour before the scheduled time of interview for verification of documents.
