About Sparks :
Benchmark SPARKS is a “write to influence” contest series starting on 15 November 2013. Each part of this series shall focus on a contemporary business theme. The contest is open only to top B-Schools across India.

When does it happen?
The contest theme shall appear on this page on the start date of the contest. The first contest begins on the 15th November and submission ends on 22nd November. Selected articles shall be made visible on our forum for comments and questions till the 6th December and winner shall be announced on the 7th December. The cycle shall continue with three more contests beginning on 15th day of each month.
Official Rules :
** Maximum of one (1) entry per person is allowed.
** The word count should not exceed one thousand (1,000) words.
** The articles submitted will be made visible on the forum only if it is approved by our moderators.
** All the articles must be original and plagiarism in the articles will not be entertained. Entries in which plagiarism is found shall be disqualified.
** If citations are used, author need to include the source of citation.
** Upon entering the contest, you have to agree to grant exclusive online publication rights of your work to Benchmark Six Sigma. This applies until the website stops existing.
** Deadline dates may be subject to change.
** Benchmark Six Sigma reserves itself the right to modify the rules at any time without notice.
** Benchmark Six Sigma reserves the right to reject entries that are off-topic, irrelevant, offensive, or for any other reason at the discretion of the organizers.
** Prizes are not transferable.
How do I participate?

Once you visit the above link, you will find the Theme and Instructions for the current contest.
Post your article using the “Start New Topic” button appearing on the right side. (Please note : Once you post the article, it will be seen by moderators and will be universally visible only once it is approved.)
Visit the forum frequently to participate in discussions specific to your article and to reply to comments and queries. You shall be getting an email every time someone comments or posts a query on your article.
Criteria for selection of winners :
There are three stages of selecting a winner.
Stage 1 : Good articles shall be qualified for display on the forum based on relevance, genuineness and uniqueness of content by our panel.
Stage 2 : Certain articles shall be shortlisted based on quality of content by our panel.
Stage 3 : The shortlisted shall be observed for reader engagement and discussions on Benchmark Six Sigma forum. Winner shall be selected on the basis of quality of responses provided by article writer to queries by forum members/ Benchmark panelists.
Rewards :
National Winner : The winning article writer shall get INR 2,000 cash + National winner certificate from Benchmark Six Sigma.
National 1st Runners Up : The second best article writer will get INR 1,000 cash + National 1st Runners Up certificate from Benchmark Six Sigma.
National 2nd Runners Up : The third best article writer will get INR 500 cash + National 2nd Runners Up certificate from Benchmark Six Sigma. Participation certificates will be awarded to all participants whose articles clear stage 2 of the contest.
Display of articles : All articles that clear the stage 1 shall be displayed on website.
