Chief Minister Scheme for Financial Assistance to the Children of Fatal Victims of Terrorism
INVITATION OF APPLICATIONS UNDER CHIEF MINISTER SCHEME FOR FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE TO THE CHILDREN OF FATAL VICTIMS OF TERRORISM
Government of Assam had introduced Chief Minister Scheme for Financial Assistance to the Children of Fatal Victims of Terrorism with the object of providing one time Financial Assistance to the children of the fatal victims of Terrorism of the State of Assam. The Scheme covers the students who are Biological Children of the Fatal Victims of Terrorism of Assam and also students who are legally adopted children of the Fatal Victim(s). The Scheme is open to the students/ Scholars of the State who are pursuing Professional Courses in Graduate and Post Graduate (Full Time Courses) level in the Govt. and other Prestigious Institutions in the fields of Medical, Engineering, Architecture, Dental, Law and any other recognized Technical/ Applied/ Professional Courses. Rs. 1.00 (one) lakh per student will be provided to the selected candidates as One Time Assistance for the entire Course, either at Graduate or at Post –Graduate Level Under the above Scheme, Directorate of Technical Education, Assam invites Applications from eligible Candidates for the session 2014-2015.
Conditions of Eligibility:
a) Students(s) must be Child/ Children of Fatal Victims of Terrorism in the State or Legally Adopted Child/Children of Fatal Victims. (To be certified by the Home Department, Government of Assam)
b) Students who is/are permanent resident of Assam
c) Students/ Scholars of the State must pursue Professional Full Time Courses in Graduate and Post Graduate level in Govt. and other Prestigious Institutions in the fields of Medical, Engineering, Architecture, Dental, Law and any other recognized Technical/ Applied/ Professional Courses
How to Apply:
a) Candidate may download the Application Form from the website of Directorate of Technical Education, Assam [dteassam.in to be made available from 02/06/2014
b) Last date of submission of filled up Application Form with all mandatory documents is 10/07/2014
c) The filled Application with all documents must be sent in A4 size Envelope [Subscribed at the top as Application under Chief Minister Scheme for Financial Assistance to the Children of Fatal Victims of Terrorism through SPEED POST to the following address:
