Rajiv Gandhi Indian Institute of Management Shillong invites ONLINE applications in the prescribed format available in the website of the Institute for the following Posts in the following areas of specialization
1. Name of the post : Professor
Scale of Pay: PB-4 Rs. 37400-67000/- with AGP Rs. 10,500/-
Qualifications : Ph.D with first class at the preceding degree or equivalent in the appropriate branch with a very good academic record throughout.
Experience : Minimum 10 years’ experience of which at least 4 years should be at the level of Associate Professor in IITs, IIMs, NITIE, IISc Bangalore, NITIE Mumbai and IISERs.
2. Name of the post : Associate Professor
Scale of Pay: PB-4 Rs. 37400-67000/- with AGP Rs. 9,500/-
Qualifications : Ph.D with first class at the preceding degree or equivalent in the appropriate branch with a very good academic record throughout.
Experience : Minimum 6 years teaching/research/industrial experience of which at least 3 years should be at the level of Assistant Professor/ Senior Scientific Officer/Senior Design Engineer.
3. Name of the post : Assistant Professor
Scale of Pay: PB-3 Rs. 15600-39100/- with AGP Rs. 8,000/-
Qualifications : Ph.D with first class at the preceding degree or equivalent in the appropriate branch with a very good academic record throughout.
Experience : Minimum 3 years teaching/research/industrial experience (exclusive period of doing Ph.D).

1. Finance : Fixed Income Securities, Corporate Banking, Micro Finance
2. Marketing : Integrated Marketing Communication, Brand Management, Consumer Relationship Marketing, Retail Management
