Indian Institute of Space Science and Technology (IIST) has been established in the year 2007 as an autonomous academic institution under Department of Space, Government of India for providing quality human resources to the Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO) and other National Research & Development Organisations and Industries. IIST is committed to (i) attract talented students,(ii) putting in place a system which ensures high academic standards, (iii) actively encourage innovative research in areas of relevance to space science, space technology and other related areas. Applications are invited for admission to the following Post Graduate programmes of the institute for the academic year 2014-2015. The total number of seats in each programme is 6 (Six).

I. M.Tech. PROGRAMME:

Age limit: 28 years as on 17.04.2014.

Educational Qualification & Eligibility: BE/B.Tech/M.Sc/M.S. or equivalent degree mentioned above should be in first class with an aggregate minimum of 60% marks or CGPA 6.5 out of 10. A valid score in GATE/JEST/UGC NET in relevant area as the case may be, as specified in above is essential.

Application fee : `600/- per programme (for SC, ST, PWD and women candidates `300/- per programme).

2. An eligible applicant who wishes to register for more than one course has to login using the IIST Registration Number and Password and register course(s) from the list of eligible courses displayed. Download the challan(s) separately and pay for those courses separately.
