Steps to Pay Electricity Bills Online :
** Citizen has to register in the portal.
** After successful registration, you must login into the site using the above userid and password.
** You should know your electricity service providers i.e CESU or NESCO / WESCO / SOUTHCO.
** You should go to the appropriate link as per the service provider.
** You should keep the physical bill before payment..

You should know the following in the bill provided by CESU :
a. Consumer No
b. Rebate Date
c. An amount before due date
d. An amount after due date
e. Division like (BCCD-1,BCCD-2,CDD-1,CDD-2 etc)
f. You should pay the entire amount once in a month

Cases for Other Than CESU You should know the following:
a. Company Name Like NESCO/SOUTHCO/WESCO
b. Consumer Name
c. SDO No(First 4 digits)
d. Binder No(Next 4 digits)
e. Account No(Last 4 digits)
f. Amount to be paid
g. You can pay the full bill amount or once the current bill or more and once the remaining arrear part of the Bill in a month.

The Distribution Licensee in Odisha namely CESU, NESCO, WESCO and SOUTHCO are carrying out the business of distribution and Retail Supply of Electricity in their licensed areas comprising the following districts as detailed below.

Name Of Dist. Company – Licensed Areas (Districts)
1. NESCO – Mayurbhanj, Koenjhar, Bhadrak, Balasore and major part of Jajpur.
2. WESCO – Sambalpur, Sundargarh, Bolangir, Bargarh, Deogarh, Nuapara, Kalahandi, Sonepur and Jharsuguda.
3. SOUTHCO – Ganjam, Gajapati, Kandhamal, Boudh, Rayagada, Koraput, Nawarangpur, and Malkanagiri.
4. CESU – Puri, Khurda, Nayagarh, Cuttack, Denkanal,Jagatsinghpur, Angul, Kendrapara and some part of Jajpur.

For above Online Payment Through Visa/Master Debit Card, the card holder should have the following :
** The 16 digit Debit card number in the debit card.
** The Expiry Date in MM/YYYY format displayed in the card.
** The CVV Number ( 3 digit code written on the back side of Visa/Master Debit Card)
** The Master Card Secure Code/Verified By Visa Password ( If citizen do not have, they can generate on-line while making payment)

Note :
** You must keep the receipt as a proof of token.
** In the receipt Transaction Id is the reference no from OdishaOnline and Bank Reference no is reference no from bank.
** You can check the transaction/payment in “My Transactions”.

If You does not get a receipt but your debit/credit card is debited with the amount , then You can go to “My Transactions” and search the transaction and can take a duplicate receipt. Duplicate receipt can be obtained by clicking “Ref No” link. . But if your transaction shows in pending list of the transactions then you can check “verify from bank” link and can regenerate the receipt.
