Applications are invited for the following posts of Technical Cadre at the ICMR’s National Centre for Disease Informatics and Research, Bangalore
(1) Name of the post : Technical Assistant (Statistics)
No. of post : One
Pay : Pay Band-2 of Rs.9300-34800 plus Grade Pay of Rs.4200
Age Below: 30 years
Essential Qualification: Three Years Graduates Degree in Mathematics with Statistics as one of the major subjects/ Economics/Operational Research/Agriculture Statistics or equivalent with Two years research experience in the above mentioned subjects or Two years Diploma in Computer Applications.
Desirable Qualification: Knowledge of statistics related computer software like SPSS,EPI-INFO, EPI-STAT & application packages like MS-Office. Familiarity with other programmes like VB, Crystal Reports, SQL Server, Oracle, ASP Programming/ Java Script as applicable to health research/ medical areas will be an advantage.
(2) Name of the post : Technical Assistant (Programmer)
No. of post : One
Pay : Pay Band-2 of Rs.9300-34800 plus Grade Pay of Rs.4200
Age Below: 30 years
Essential Qualification: Three Years Graduates Degree in Information Technology/Information Science/Computer Science/Electronics with Computer Applications as one of the major subjects or equivalent from the Recognized University with two years experience in Developing Software Applications programmes for data disease data capture, Analysis, Data Base Management, Data Mining, Standardizing of archival data etc.
Desirable Qualification: At least one to two years experience in programming SQL Server, Java Script, ASP.NET, VB.NET with knowledge of Crystal Reports, developing programmes for disease data processing, compilation etc.
Selection : Selection shall be by competitive test & interview.
Fee : Indian Postal Order (IPO) for Rs. 100/- (Rupees one hundred only) payable to the Director-in-Charge, NCDIR, Bangalore
