Age limit : should be maximum 23 years for General Category candidates, 26 for OBC category candidate and 28 years for SC, ST Category candidates as on 01/11/2013

Eligibility Criteria:
i) The candidate should possess B.Sc. (Physics, Chemistry & Math) qualification as a regular student from a recognized university / institutions with minimum 60 % for General / OBC category and minimum 33 % for SC/ST category.
ii) The gap between the date of declaration of result and the date of engagement should not be more than 3 years.
iii) The candidate must not have work experience of more than one year.
iv) The candidate should not have undergone apprenticeship training earlier.

Stipend : The period of Apprenticeship Training will be of 18 months from the date of commencement and will be terminated upon completion of the stipulated period. The selected candidates will be paid a stipend of Rs. 6,970/- per month during the 1st year and Rs. 7,220/- per month for the remaining 6 months of training without any other benefits / allowances / facilities (The organisation does not have obligation to provide regular employment to the apprentices engaged).

Selection Methodology:
i) The selection procedure will comprise Written Test, Trade Test & Personal Interview for Engineering Assistant (Mechanical, Electrical and T&I discipline) and Written Test, Physical Fitness Test & Personal Interview for Technical Attendant-I. Candidates shortlisted on the basis of their performance in the Written Test would be called for Personal Interview and Trade / Physical Fitness Test. The candidates will have to pass through each stage including medical fitness for being adjudged as suitable for selection.
ii) Filling up of vacancies is solely at the discretion of the Management and is based on suitability of the candidates. No claim will arise for appointment, if vacancies are not filled due to unsuitability/insufficient number of candidates.
