National Brain Research Center (NBRC), Manesar, is the apex coordinating body for research in Neuroscience with the objective of undertaking basic research towards understanding brain structure and function in health and disease. NBRC would like to recruit suitable persons under a joint project between NBRC, Manesar and AIIMS, New Delhi for the following project position (s) which will be co-terminus with the project;

1. Name of the post : Technologist (Project)

Pay Scale: `15,600 – `39,100/- Grade pay `5,400/-
Method of Recruitment: Direct Recruitment (on contract) / On Deputation
Nature of Employment: Under a joint project between NBRC and AIIMS and the incumbent is required to work as per the project needs and demand.
Team Leader of the Project : Prof. Sarat P. Chandra (AIIMS); The project is being implemented jointly by NBRC & AIIMS.
Minimum Qualifications:
M.Sc. (Physics with specialization in Electronics) or M.Sc. (Electronics) with 03 years experience. OR
M.Tech. (Electronics / Electrical / Biomedical Engineering) with 01 year experience. OR
Ph.D. in EEG / MEG related topics. OR
Post Graduate Degree in Radiography with five years experience as licensed Radiographer / Technologist with MRI / CT experience. OR
B.Tech. with 05 years experience in EEG and / or related instrumentation
Desirable Qualifications: Handling imaging/ electrophysiological/ high-tech laboratory instruments in clinical and R&D settings
Age Limit: 40 years as on last date of the application

2. Name of the post : Technician (Project)

Nature of Employment: Under a joint project between NBRC and AIIMS and the incumbent is required to work as per the project needs and demand.
Team Leader of the Project : Prof. Sarat P. Chandra (AIIMS); The project is being implemented jointly by NBRC & AIIMS.
Minimum Qualifications:
M.Sc. (Physics) / B.Tech. / B.E. (in relevant area including instrumentation) OR
Graduation in science with diploma in Clinical Neurophysiology or in other related areas
Desirable Qualifications: Experience / advanced training in EEG and related areas. OR
02 years experience in handling high tech instruments

3. Name of the post : Nurse (Project)

Minimum Qualifications:
B.Sc. (Nursing) OR
XIIth standard and Diploma in Nursing & Midwifery (03 years course from a school of Nursing or any other institution recognized by the Nursing council of India) plus Registration as ‘A’ Grade Nurse. OR
Nursing ‘A’ certificate with 03 years’ experience in a Government / Semi-government Institution / Autonomous body / hospital of repute having at least 50 beds.
Desirable Qualifications: 01-02 years experience including familiarity with neurology patients and especially epilepsy care and status epilepticus. Epilepsy monitoring unit training will be a plus point.
Age Limit: 35 years as on last date of the application

4. Name of the post : Lab Attendant (Project)

Method of Recruitment: Direct Recruitment (on contract)
Nature of employment: Under a joint project between NBRC and AIIMS and the incumbent is required to work as per the project needs and demand.
Team Leader of the Project : Prof. Sarat P. Chandra (AIIMS); The project is being implemented jointly by NBRC & AIIMS.
Minimum Qualifications: 8th standard pass
Desirable Qualifications: 01 – 02 years experience in relevant area
Age Limit: 30 years as on last date of the application

Application Fee : Application Fee (non-refundable) `100/- for General and `50/- for OBC in the form of Demand Draft in favour of “Director, NBRC” payable at Gurgaon/ Manesar. The application fees for candidates belonging to SC/ST/PH categories are exempted subject to the production of Certificate. The women candidates are also exempted from the application fee. Candidates are required to submit separate application form along with requisite fee for applying for different Posts.

iii) Candidates may send their request (for obtaining a blank application form) to the Registrar, National Brain Research Centre, Manesar-122 051, Dist. Gurgaon (Haryana). The request for obtaining blank application form from NBRC should be accompanied by a demand draft for ` 50/- drawn in favour of Director, NBRC payable at Gurgaon along with details of the address where the application is to be sent. In addition to this, candidates have to send the requisite fee as applicable, along with the filled in application.

iv) Advertisement No., Name of the post and Post Code applied for should be clearly mentioned on the Envelope and on the Application Form, failing which the application will not be considered

v) Both types of Applicants (Online/Offline) need to send either the print out of their application form or the manually filled-in application form along with a Demand Draft for the requisite amount, drawn in favour of Director, National Brain Research Centre and payable at Gurgaon or Manesar (please write your name, post applied for, post code and the application number* on the back side of Demand Draft). The duly filled-in application form and Demand Draft should be sent by post / courier to the
