Applications are invite for appointment of Members of Juvenile Justice Boards and Chairperson & Members of Child Welfare Committees under Juvenile Justice (Care & Protection of Children ) Act,2000 (as amended in 2006) for following districts and categories
I Name of the post : Members of Juvenile Justice Boards
No. of post : five posts for District Fatehabad, Karnal, Palwal , Rewari and Yamunanagar. (one for each district) out of which Karnal and Yamunanagar post is for women only.
Qualification:
i) The Social Worker to be appointed as Member of the Board shall be a person not less that 35 years of age.
ii) He/She should be post-graduate degree in social work, health, education, psychology, child development or any other social science discipline.
iii) He/She should have been actively involved and engaged in planning, implementing and administering measures relating to child welfare for at least 7 years.
iv) Domicile of Haryana.
II Name of the post: Chairperson of Child Welfare Committees
No. of post : 6 Posts for districts :- (Gurgaon, Jhajjar, Mewat, Rohtak ,Sonepat and Yamunanagar only) and Member of Child Welfare Committees (39 Posts)for district Fatehabad (1), Gurgaon (3) , Hisar (2), Kaithal (2), Kurukshetra (3), Mewat (3), Narnaul (4), Panchkula (3), Panipat (3), Palwal (3), Rewari (1), Rohtak (3), Sonepat (3), Sirsa (3) and Yamunanagar (2)
Qualification:
i) A person is not less than 35 years of age.
ii) Graduate degree in Social Work, Psychology, Child Development, Education, Sociology, Law Criminology and where such a person is not available, a person with atleast Graduate degree in any of the Social Science disciplines having minimum experience of 7 years of in respective field.
iii) A person is not available, a person with at least a Graduate Degree in any of the Soscial Science disciplines.
iv) A person to be selected as Member of Committee shall have either of the following qualification:
v) teacher, A doctor, or a Social Worker who has been involved in work concerning children.
Tenure of JJB & CWC members :
i) The Committee shall have a tenure of five years and the tenure of Chairperson and members shall be co-terminus with the tenure of the Committee.
ii) The Chairperson and Members of the Committee shall be eligible for appointment for a maximum of two consecutive terms.
Fee : Rs. 500/- (Rs. Five hundred only)
