Filling up of the posts of Senior Flight Operations Inspector and Flight Operations Inspector on ad hoc basis on contract in the Directorate General of Civil Aviation against newly created regular posts.
Applications are invited from Indian Nationals to fill up the following posts on ad hoc basis on contract initially for a period of three years in the Pay Scale, Grade pay and allowances as detailed below:
i. Senior Flight Operations Inspector (Aeroplane) in the Grade Pay of Rs 8700 in PB 4 with Non Flying Allowance of Rs 6000 per hour for 70 hour per month and admissible Special Allowance. (The total emoluments will be in range of Rs 5,57,000 to Rs 6,77,500 per month)
ii. Senior Flight Operations Inspector (Helicopter) in the Grade Pay of Rs 8700 in PB 4 with Non Flying Allowance of Rs 2000 per hour for 40 hour per month and admissible Special Allowance (The total emoluments will be in range of Rs 2,17,500 to Rs 3,37,500 per month)
iii. Flight Operations Inspector (Aeroplane) in the Grade Pay of Rs 7600 in PB 3 with Non Flying Allowance of Rs 4000 per hour for 70 hours per month and admissible Special Allowance (The total emoluments will be in the range of Rs 3,70,000 to Rs 4,50,980 per month)
iv. Flight Operations Inspector (Helicopter) in the Grade Pay of Rs 7600 in PB 3 with Non Flying Allowance of Rs 2000 per hour for 40 hours per month and admissible Special Allowance (The total emoluments will be in the range Rs 1,71,000 to Rs 2,50,980 per month)
Post : Senior Flight Operations Inspector (Aeroplane)

Eligibility :
(i) Should have an Airline Transport Pilot’s License issued by DGCA India with current Pilot-in-Command rating on civil air transport aircraft.
(ii) Should have an Open rating for all types of aeroplanes having all-up-weight not exceeding 5,700 kgs.
(iii) total experience of not less than 6,000 hours and not less than 5,000 hours as Pilot-in-Command on air transport aircraft.
(iv) Accident free record for last 5 years attributable to his proficiency.
Desirable:
(i) should have held the qualification of an examiner/ instructor approved by Director General of Civil Aviation on civil air transport aircraft or qualified flight instructor rating in Category A from Defence services
Post : Flight Operations Inspector (Aeroplane)

Eligibility :
(i) Should have an Airline Transport Pilot’s License issued by DGCA India with current Pilot-in-Command rating on civil air transport aircraft.
(ii) total experience of not less than 5,000 hours and not less than 2,000 hours as Pilot-in-Command on civil air transport aircraft
(iii) Accident free record for last 5 years attributable to his proficiency.
Desirable:
(i) should have held the qualification of an examiner/ instructor/ check pilot approved by Director General of Civil Aviation on civil air transport aircraft or qualified flight instructor rating in Category A from Defence services.
Post : Flight Operations Inspector (Helicopter)

Eligibility :
(i) Should have a Commercial Pilot’s License (Helicopter) issued by DGCA India with current Pilot-in-Command rating.
(ii) total experience of not less than 3,000 hours and not less than 1,500 hours as Pilot-in-Command on helicopters.
(iii) Accident free record for last 5 years attributable to his proficiency.
Desirable:
(i) should have held the qualification of an examiner/ instructor/ check pilot approved by Director General of Civil Aviation on civil helicopter or qualified flight instructor rating in Category A from Defence services.
The application in the prescribed proforma from the eligible and interested officers are invited which should reach the undersigned alongwith NO OBJECTION CERTIFICATE from present employer latest by 28th February 2014 (Applications received after the closing date or otherwise found incomplete will not be considered). The officers should ensure that the up-to-date photocopies of Annual Performance Appraisal Reports for the last five years, a certificate from the employer(s) indicating accident free record for last 5 years attributable to his proficiency, alongwith Integrity Certificate and a statement of major/minor penalty, imposed if any, during preceding last 5 years be sent by the present employer(s), if applicable.
