Online applications are invited from Indian Citizen and such other national as declared eligible by Government of India and who are permanent resident of West Bengal for recruitment to the post of Staff Nurse, Grade II under Health & Family Welfare Department, Government of West Bengal.
Only online registration & submission of Application will be allowed on the website ( www.wbhrb.in ) between 24.02.2014 to 17.03.2014 ( before 8 PM).

Scale of Pay: Rs.7100/- — Rs.37600/-, [ PB 3 , Grade Pay – Rs. 3600/- ]. Other allowances will also be admissible as per existing Government Rules.
Qualification : Passed General Nursing & Midwifery Certificate from Nursing Training School recognized by West Bengal Nursing Council & Indian Nursing Council.
Age : Not less than 18 Years and not more than 35 Years as on 1st. January, 2014. Age limit relaxable by 5 years for SC and ST candidates of West Bengal, by 3 years for BC candidates of West Bengal and up to 45 years of age for persons having physical disabilities for 40% and above.
Fee :
Candidates must submit the application fee amounting to Rs. 160/- (Rupees one hundred & sixty) only either by Net Banking or Offline through Bank Counter in any branch of Banks participating in the GRIPS ( Govt. Receipt Portal System ), Govt. of West Bengal through duplicate challan, as generated after filling up the online application Form. Govt. Receipt Head of Account is ‘ 0051-00-104-002-16’.
Money order, Cheque, Bank Draft, Cash etc. will not be acceptable.
Application shall be made in the format, as available ,in the West Bengal Health Recruitment Board Website .
Application received after the closing date shall be rejected.
In case, any of the statement made in the application be subsequently found to be false within the knowledge of the candidates- her candidature will be liable to cancellation, and even if appointed to a post on the results of this examination her appointment will be liable to be terminated. Willful suppression of any material fact will also be similarly dealt with.
Candidates should take particular note that entries in their application submitted to the Board must be made correctly against all the items which will be treated as final and no alteration and addition in this regard will be entertained after submission of the application. Application not duly filled in or found incomplete or defective in any respect or without fee will be liable to rejection.
Candidates must fulfill the qualification by the closing date. All information regarding selection/ recruitment (date of examination/ date of interview etc.) to the post will be available, time to time in the Board Website wbhrb.in).
Full submission of more than one application is strictly forbidden. The candidature of a candidate who submits more than one application in full, for admission to the Examination, will be cancelled even if she is admitted to the same.
A candidate should note that her admission to the Examination/ Interview will be deemed provisional subject to determination of her eligibility in all respects. If at any stage even after issue of the letter of appointment a candidate is found ineligible for admission to this Examination, her candidature will be cancelled without further reference to her.

PLEASE TELL ME THE EXAM DATE OF STAFF NURSE RECRUITMENT OF 2014.
Is the date of wbhrb staff nurse recruitment 2014 fixed?
I have already filled up the form and online payment is also done. I have already printed it and there is a specific space for running signature. Should I have to send it or submit it anywhere?
Applicants do not need to send any Print out/ hard copy.
I want to know the examination date & syllabus for staff nurse grade-ll recruitment.
I have filled up an Application but in payment Fees stage unfortunately I failed to pay the fees,now after login there is a message like ”payment Status pending”. What should I do? Can I fill new application ?
No application will be considered unless accompanied with the requisite application fee excepting the Applicants belonging to SC/ST category of West Bengal and persons with disabilities specified under disabilities rule, 1999 (certificates obtained before the Advertisement date) who do not require to pay any fee.
