Combined Recruitment for the post of Programme Executive and Transmission Executive in Prasar Bharti Examination, 2013 – List of candidates qualified for Interview

1. The Staff Selection Commission conducted a competitive examination on 02.06.2013 for recruitment to the post of Combined Recruitment for the post of Programme Executive and Transmission Executive in Prasar Bharti all over the country. Result of Paper-I for evaluation of Paper-II was declared on 05.10.2013.

2. Keeping in view the tentative vacancies, the Commission has decided to call 681 candidates for the post of Programme Executive(Post code-A) and 3035 candidates for the post Transmission Executive (Post codes –B,C,D,E,F,G,H,I) who have met the cut-off fixed by the Commission in Paper-II for Interview. The category-wise details of candidates and cut-off marks fixed are given below

(Note-III: 670 candidates are common between List-I and List-II).

3. As per corrigendum to the Notice “Candidates choosing English in Part –A of Paper-II will not be allowed to select English in Part-B. Similarly, candidates selected Hindi in Part-A of Paper-II will not be allowed to select Hindi in Part-B. Any candidates doing so will be awarded Zero marks in Part-B. Some candidates have attempted same language in both parts of Pape-II and they have been awarded Zero marks in Part-B.

4. Candidates belonging to reserve categories for whom certain number of vacancies are reserved as per the policy of the Government, the category status is indicated against their Roll Numbers. It is important to note that some of these candidates have been declared qualified for the category mentioned against their Roll Nos. If any candidate does not actually belong to the category mentioned against his/her name, he/she may not be eligible for being called for personality test. It is, therefore, in the interest of the candidates concerned to immediately contact the respective Regional Office of the Commission in all such cases where they do not belong to the category shown against their Roll Nos.

5. The interview is likely to commence in the 3rd week of April, 2014. Qualified and eligible candidates may follow the website of the Regional Office for interview schedule. Those who do not receive call letters for the Interview may download it from the website of concerned regional office. Candidates figuring in both lists will require to appear in the interview only once.

  • What is the criteria of selecting candidates? because in m.p 50 vacancies are there and only 1 vacancy for s.t? Please inform about the selection process

  • Would you please tell me which type of questions may be asked in transmission executive interview whether general questions or questions related to job?
