Sir Dinshah Mulla Legal Essay Writing Competition :
The SIR DINSHAH MULLA LEGAL ESSAY WRITING COMPETITION is an intra GLC legal essay writing Competition, sponsored by Senior Partner, Mulla and Mulla and Craigie Blunt and Caroe, Mr. Shardul Thacker, in memory of Sir Dinshah Mulla, one of the foremost legal luminaries the country has ever produced. The Competition encourages students of our College to showcase their literary skills and their knowledge and analysis of the law.
The winners are awarded cash prizes as follows :
First prize :Rs.15,000
Second Prize :Rs.8,000
Third Prize :Rs.6,000
The first prize winning entry is published in the Magazine.
Topics :
1. Analyse the Companies Act, 2013, in light of the dynamic and developing corporate sector.
2. Discuss the legalisation of betting in Sports in contrast to the prevalent anti-gambling laws in India.
3. Examine the impact of the landmark judgment in the Novartis case on global pharmaceutical giants.
4. National Cyber Security Policy, 2013- Headway in India’s cyber security scene.
This is an intra-college competition. A hard copy of the essay must be submitted to Ms. Parab in the college office and emailed to melawnge AT glumumbai.com. Each entry should be no longer than 4000 words.
Last date of Submission : 10th January, 2014.
