Application for the posts of Librarian and Technical Assistant in Orissa High Court, Cuttack

Online Applications are invited till 5.00 P.M. of 31.03.2014 from the eligible candidates for filling up of the following posts in Orissa High Court, Cuttack.

Salary: Rs.9,300-34,800/- & Grade Pay Rs.4,200/-

Age Limit: Between 18 to 35 years as on 01.01.2014 (upper age is relaxable up to 5 years in case of S.c. & S.T.Candidates).

Qualification and Experience :-
(i) For SI. No.l:- (a) A Graduate with minimum 2ndClass in any discipline from a recognised University.
(b) A Degree in Library Science with an additional qualification in PGDCA from a recognised Institute with at least two years working experience in a recognised Library.
(ii) For SI. No.2:- An Intermediate with Diploma Certificate Course in library Science and PGDCA.

Examination Fees: Candidates ale required to pay fees of Rs.l 00/ – in shape of Treasury Challan under the Head “0070-0ther Administrative Services – 0 1 – Administration of Justice – 501 – Services and Services Fees -9903220 – Home Department – 9915770 – Examination Fees”. The S.c. and S.T. Candidates are exempted from paying the Examination Fees.

The Selection Committee shall have the right to short list the Candidates on the basis of their educational qualification including the knowledge in Computer Operation as per Rule – 10 of the Orissa High Court (Appointment of Staff) (Amendment), Rules – 2007. Technical qualification and experience of the candidates will also be taken into consideration.

Authority reserves the right to adopt such mode of selection process as it may be determined after preliminary scrutiny of the online applications submitted by the eligible candidates in exigencies and the same will be intimated to the short listed candidates later on.

Miscellaneous :
(a) Applications should be submitted Online in the prescribed format only by logging into the official website of the Orisso High Court
(b) Candidates must go through ‘the Instructions on how to apply online’ available on the Orissa High Court website in order to understand the complete procedure for filling up and submitting forms successfully and guidelines for Scanning and Uploading Photograph, Signature and Treasury Challan.
(c) Incomplete/incorrect applications or applications submitted through modes other than the prescribed Online format will not be entertained and will be summarily rejected.
(d) The candidates are required to submit their original certificates at the time of interview / Vivo voce Test.
(e) Candidates already in Government service will hove to produce “No Objection Certificate” / “Letter of Permission” from competent authority at the time of Interview / Viva voce Test.
(f) The candidates ore advised to check the Orissa High Court website regularly for latest updates. No T.A./D.A. will be paid for appearing in the written test / interview.
