Applications in the prescribed form together with Registration Fee of Rs.1,000/- and Rs.750/- for SC/ST candidates are invited for the under mentioned posts. Candidates should possess the prescribed qualifications as on the date of this notification, and should have also qualified (himself/herself) in the National Eligibility Test in the subject concerned for Programme Co-ordinator and Subject Matter Specialist posts in various disciplines. The candidates who have appeared for the NET examination during the year 2014 can also apply for these posts. But they should produce the NET qualifying certificate at the time of interview compulsorily. The registration fee amount should be sent through a crossed Demand Draft along with filled in application form in favour of THE COMPTROLLER, Dr.YSR HORTICULTURAL UNIVERSITY, VENKATRAMANNAGUDEM payable at TADEPALLIGUDEM, WEST GODAVARI DISTRICT, ANDHRA PRADESH on any nationalized bank.

1.Name of the post : PROGRAMME CO-ORDINATOR
No. of post : ONE
Pay Band : Rs.15,600 – 39,100 with 8000 AGP (UGC Scales of 2006)
Age: Not more than 45 years as on the date of Advertisement.
Qualifications:
i. A Bachelor’s degree in Horticulture/Agriculture.
ii. Doctorate Degree in relevant field of Agriculture/Horticulture/Animal Sciences/Fisheries including relevant basic sciences with 4 years experience as Scientist/Lecturer/Extension Specialist or in an equivalent position in the pay scale of Rs.15,600-39,100+5,400AGP having made contributions to research/ teaching/extension education as evidenced by published work/innovations.
OR
Doctoral degree in relevant field of Agriculture/Horticulture/Animal Sciences/ Fisheries including relevant basic sciences with 4 years experience of high quality post-doctoral research in an institution of repute evidenced by publication in high impact/renowned journals.
Desirable: Specialization in implementing extension education programmes.
iii. Experience of not less than 5 years in Teaching/Research/Extension in the subject (discipline) concerned in recognized Teaching/Research/Extension institutions. Experience both as instructor and Assistant Professors count equally for the purpose.

2. Name of the post : SUBJECT MATTER SPECIALIST

Pay Band : Rs.15,600 – 39,100 with 5,400 AGP (UGC Scales of 2006)
Agricultural Extension(3 posts)

Veterinary Science (3 posts)
Age : Not less than 21 years age and not more than 35 years of age as on the date of Advertisement.
Qualifications:
(A). For Agricultural Extension, Entomology, Horticulture, Soil Science & Agricultural Chemistry. :
i. A Bachelor’s degree in Horticulture/Agriculture.
ii. A Master’s degree in the subject (discipline) concerned with at least 55% marks or its equivalent grade.
iii. Should have passed SSC examination or any other equivalent examination with Telugu as one of the subject or should have studied SSC through the medium of Telugu or should have working knowledge of Telugu. Relaxable in the case of in-service Teachers of Dr.YSRHU.
iv. NET qualification in concerned discipline.
v. The Desirable qualification for the post of Subject Matter Specialist is 2 years
experience in the Krishi Vigyan Kendras.

(B). For Fisheries Science And Veterinary Science. :
i. A Bachelor’s degree in Veterinary Science/Fisheries Science.
ii. A Master’s degree in the subject (discipline) concerned with at least 55% marks or its equivalent grade.
iii. Should have passed SSC examination or any other equivalent examination with Telugu as one of the subject or should have studied SSC through the medium of Telugu or should have working knowledge of Telugu.
iv. NET qualification in concerned discipline.
v. The Desirable qualification for the post of Subject Matter Specialist is 2 years experience in the Krishi Vigyan Kendras.
