FACULTY POSITIONS:
I (i) Title of the Position : PROFESSOR

Department : PLANNING
Pay Scale: Rs. 37,400 – 67,000; Academic Grade Pay: Rs. 10,000; Pay Band: PB-4
ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS : Ph.D. with minimum 60% aggregate marks at Bachelor’s or Master’s level in Planning discipline. Minimum 10 years experience in teaching / Post Doctoral Research /Professional work with at least 5 years experience of teaching at a University. The candidates should have experience of teaching Post Graduate and PhD courses in internationally recognized institutions. Minimum experience of 10 years should be excluding the years required in attaining essential qualifications
I (ii) Title of the Position : ASSOCIATE PROFESSOR

Pay Scale: Rs. 37,400 – 67,000; Academic Grade Pay: Rs. 9,000; Pay Band: PB-4
ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS : Ph.D. with 60% aggregate marks at Bachelor’s or Master’s level in Planning or in relevant discipline. Minimum 8 years of experience in teaching/Post Doctoral Research /Professional work at a University/institute/Organization in the Revised Pay Scale of Rs.15600-39100 or equivalent. The candidates should have experience of teaching Post Graduate and PhD courses in internationally recognized institutions. Minimum experience of 8 years should be excluding the years required in attaining essential qualifications.
I (iii) Title of the Position : ASSISTANT PROFESSOR

ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS : Master’s Degree or Bachelor’s Degree with First Class or 60% aggregate marks at any one of the levels in discipline of Planning or in relevant discipline.

3. Title of the Position : Section Officer

Essential Qualifications: A Master’s degree from a recognized University with five years of continuous service holding analogous post on regular basis in Universities / Technological Institutions.
4. Title of the Position : Assistant Librarian

Pay Scale: Rs.15600- 39100. AGP Rs.6000/-; Pay Band: PB-3
Upper age limit : 45 Years
Essential Qualifications:
i) Masters Degree in Library Science/ Information science / Documentation Science or equivalent professional degree with at least 55% marks or equivalent grade where grading system is followed and consistently good academic record with knowledge of computerisation of library.
ii) Qualify in the National level test for the purpose conducted by UGC or any other Agency approved by UGC.
Candidates who are, or have been awarded with Ph.D degree in accordance with UGC Regulations 2009 shall be exempted from the requirement of the minimum eligibility condition of NET/ SLET/ SET for recruitment.
5. Title of the Position : Private Secretary
