Qualification :
Category No. 97/2014 :
A: (i) Diploma in Agricultural Science awarded by the Kerala Agricultural University or its equivalent
In the absence of qualified hands, under item (i) above
(ii) Vocational Higher Secondary Certificate in Agriculture In the absence of qualified hands under item (i) and (ii)
(iii) 1) Pass in SSLC or its equivalent with Agriculture as optional subject OR
2) Pass in SSLC or its equivalent and a recognized training in Agriculture OR
3) Post Basic School Leaving Certificate with Agriculture as an optional subject
B. Good Physique
The following are the Certificates accepted as recognised training in Agriculture
1) Successful completion of 2 years certificate course in Agricultural Science conducted by Gandhigram Rural Institute, Madurai or by Other Rural Institutes recognised by the Government of India
2) Certificate in Agricultural Science awarded by the National Council of Rural Higher Education, Government of India
3) Certificate in KGTE or MGTE in Agriculture
4) One Year training in Agriculture at an Agricultural School or a basic Agricultural School

Category No. 96/2014:
A degree in Urdu and B.Ed/B.T/L.T conferred or recognized by the Universities in Kerala OR
A title of Oriental Learning in Urdu awarded or recognized by the Universities in Kerala (If such title has been declared as equivalent to part III of Degree) and Certificate in Language Teacher’s Training issued by the Commissioner for Government Examinations, Kerala

Category No. 95/2014 :
1. Pass in S.S.L.C.
2. (A) KGTE / MGTE in Surveying and Levelling (Lower) and pass in any two of the following qualifications of KGTE/MGTE (Lower);
(a) Building Drawing and Estimating .
(b) Building materials and construction.
(c) Earth work and Road making.
(d) Hydraulics and Irrigation Engineering.
(e) Mensuration OR
(B) Certificate issued by the Director General of Resettlement and Employment in Surveyor Trade under the Craftsman Training Scheme OR
(C) I.T.I. Draftsman Certificate in Civil or Mechanical. OR
(D) Diploma in Agricultural and Rural Engineering awarded by the Kerala Agricultural University or its equivalent recognised by the Kerala Agricultural University with a period of not less than 2 years.

Category No. 91/2014 & 94/2014 :
(1) A pass in S.S.L.C. or any equivalent Examination.
(2) Working Knowledge of both Tamil and Malayalam languages

Category No. 90/2014 :
Qualifications:
1. Pass in SSLC or its equivalent.
2. Lower Grade Certificate in English Typewriting (KGTE) and Computer Word Processing or its equivalent (G.O.(P) No. 17/2005/P&ARD dated 09.05.2005).
3. Lower Grade Certificate in Malayalam Typewriting (KGTE) or its equivalent.
4. Lower Grade Certificate in Short Hand English (KGTE) or its equivalent.
5. Lower Grade Certificate in Short Hand Malayalam (KGTE) or its equivalent.
