Eligibility, Allotment and Reporting: brief instructions

Eligibilty Criterion :
Eligibility criteria for admission to M.Tech./M.Arch./M.Plan. In the qualifying degree a candidate MUST obtain minimum (i) 6.5 CGPA (on a 10-point scale) or 60% (where CGPA is not awarded) for OC/OBC (ii) 6.0 CGPA or 55% (where CGPA is not awarded) in case of SC/ST candidates.
In case of results awaiting candidates, provisional admission is permitted to a subject to meeting above benchmark by 15th September of the year of session
Conversion from CGPA to percentage or vice versa even if given by individual institute will not be considered/allowed.
Reservation for OBC, SC, ST & PWD will be as per Central Govt. of India norms.

Application/Choice Filling :
During online application form filling, a candidate can exercise filling his choice of preference of M.Tech./M.Arch./M.Plan. programmes available in various institutes. These choices will be locked by candidate, and if not done, will get automatically locked on 23 May 2014, midnight. A candidate having filled none of the choices, will be out of allotment procedure permanently.
There will be an application fee of Rs. 1750/- (OC/OBC) or Rs. 1250/- (SC/ST) for participation in CCMT which once paid, is neither refundable nor adjustable towards fee for any programme at the final allotted institute
Application fee is payable (i) online (Debit/Credit/net-banking) (ii) ) offline (e-challan of ICICI/SBI Bank).

Reporting :
During first time reporting, each candidate MUST report in PERSON and produce all original documents at reporting centre, failing which her/his candidature will stand cancelled.
There will be four rounds of allotment/reporting. Candidate NOT satisfied with his/her respective allotted seat, will have to SURRENDER such seat in order to participate in the 4th round. All un-allottee and those who have surrendered seats will be eligible for consideration for 4th round allotment.

Dates mentioned above are tentative and may be changed due to unavoidable circumstances, if any. Candidates are advised to regularly check website for updates

Documents Required for Verification during Reporting of CCMT 2014 :
Candidates shall carry the following documents at the time of reporting to the Reporting Center:
1. Printout of the registration form, locked choices, provisional seat allotment letter downloaded from the CCMT website.
2. Allotment Letter (Coloured photograph pasted on it)
3. Original GATE score card (2013/2014) (web-copy/photocopy will be invalid)
4. Photo ID proof as per Govt. of India norms
5. Class X (High School) Board Certificate as proof of date of birth
6. Mark sheet of Class XII
7. All semesters Grade/Mark sheets of qualifying examination
8. Degree / Provisional certificate, if degree is completed
9. Certificate of category (OBC/SC/ST), if applicable as per Government of India must be issued by the competent authority. In case of OBC category, the certificate must be issued on or after April 1, 2014.
10. Undertaking by the candidate regarding OBC status in the required format
11. Certificate for Persons With Disabilities (PWD), if applicable, issued by the competent authority
12. Proof of payment of part of Institute fee of Rs. 10,000/-.

Note: If the original certificates are not in English/Hindi, English/Hindi version/translation of such certificates, duly certified by the Principal/Director of the passing out institute, will be required during verification of documents. A set of self attested photocopies of abovementioned documents should also be submitted at the time of reporting.

How to Apply :
I have read all the guidelines (information brochure and on website), eligibility conditions for respective programmes across all participating institutes of CCMT 2014.
I am aware and abide by special eligibility conditions that some of the institutes require for admission, as given in brochure, and would ensure that I fulfill all such conditions while filling such programmes during choice-filling.
I undertake that I shall provide only authentic information. In case any information given by me is found incorrect at any point of time, my admission/candidature will automatically stand CANCELLED without any further reference & I will be liable for all the consequences.
I am aware that I would not be able to change any information I have entered in the online application after last date of registration. In case it is found incorrect later at any stage, my candidature would be cancelled and my application fee would stand forfeited.
I also understand that I would not be able to use the e-challan facility to pay my application fee after the last date of e-challan facility announced in the brochure. After the last date of e-challan facility and before last date of registration I would only have the credit/debit/net-banking facility to pay the fresh application fee. It is my responsibility to track the payment of amount if done by e-challan, and report and lodge complaint with CCMT if my permanent registration number is not enabled.
I am aware that there will be NO refund of fee already paid, in cases of re-registration, if allowed.
I am aware that I have to pay the requisite fee and lock the choices for complete registration.
I undertake that I will take printout of my complete application including filled-choices; check details carefully. I understand that in case any discrepancy is found, I have the option of submitting fresh application (only up to last date of registration) as per following procedure. I also understand that in no case any grievance OR complaint shall be entertained at any later stage throughout the complete process of Counselling

A candidate, who has already filled, locked the choices and submitted online application but before last date of registration & application fee payment she/he finds that some critical information has wrongly been filled which now she/he wants to change. Such candidate may do so up to last date of registration & application fee payment BUT she/he will be required to fill fresh online application and also has to make fresh payment of application fee (Only through Bill Desk, i.e. Credit/ Debit/ Net-banking options, if paying after last date of payment by e-challan). It is further made clear that prior to submitting the fresh application her/his earlier application will be cancelled, data would be reset and application fee paid earlier will stand forfeited.
