Homi Bhabha Centre for Science Education (HBCSE), a National Centre of TIFR invites applications for the post tenable at HBCSE, Mumbai.

Age: Below 35 years.
Pay Band (PB-3): Rs. 15600 – 39100 + Grade Pay: Rs. 6600/- ;
Total Monthly Emoluments: Rs. 61850/-;
HQ: Mumbai.
Qualification: M.E./M.Tech in Computer Science/ Computer Engineering/ Electronics & Communications.
Experience: Minimum 2 years experience in relevant field.
Desirable: 2 years experience in System Administration including atleast 1 year in GNU/Linux based system. Sound knowledge of GNU/Linux System Administration as well as clients with Windows.
Job Description: System Administration of Central Servers, Manage and monitor the network and websites and plan, install and manage servers, network elements and other computer facilities to serve the needs of the Centre.
Salary : Higher starting salary could be considered for deserving candidates. The candidates are liable to be transferred to other Centres/Field stations of the Institute, if required.
Probation: Appointment for the above post will be initially for a period of three years including probation of one year. Continuing appointment beyond the initial period of three years will be subject to the results of a comprehensive review and performance appraisal. After successful review, the appointment is continued till superannuation age, which is sixty. Prescribed age should not exceed as on January 01, 2014.
Selected candidates for the above post will be governed by the New Pension Scheme applicable to the Central Government Service [unless they are already governed by CCS (Pension) Rules 1972]. SC/ST/OBC/PWD candidates can also apply.
