Instructions for the Applicant :
** Apply for Duplicate Certificates along with Original FIR and Affidavit (English). In case if original certificates found then original certificates must be returned to VIT University
** Apply for name correction in certificates along with appropriate documents (after name correction in the administrative office / Gazette Notification copy).
** Payments should be made either in VIT CASH COUNTER/ or by Demand Draft in favour of ‘VIT University’ payable at Vellore, Tamil Nadu, India.
** Pay order / Cheques are not accepted in the Office of the Controller of Examinations.
** A minimum of four weeks from the date of the application is required for processing (more if there is delay in verifying the Authenticity of the documents like FIR/AFFIDAVIT by the issuing authorities)

Academic Transcripts (For International / Timed out Students Only)
Procedure to apply for the Academic Transcripts through post
** Download the Transcripts request Form and fill in the require details
** Enclose a Demand Draft in favour of Vellore Institute of Technology payable at Vellore for the required amount. The amount may vary depending on the number of transcripts and the format. For further details refer the form
** Enclose a self addressed stamp affixed (Rs.100/if less than 10 transcripts, more than 10 sets then add Rs.20 per set) A3 size cloth cover for posts within India.
** If you are willing to nominate any person to apply and collect the transcripts on behalf of you in person then send an authorization letter along with the above said documents except the self addressed cover to the Controller of Examinations
** If you need the individual transcript set to be packed in a sealed cover (signed by Controller of Examinations), do mention in your requisition.
** Send the request with all the enclosures addressed to Controller of Examinations, VIT University, Vellore – 632 014, Tamil Nadu, India.
