INSTRUCTIONS :
Read the instructions carefully before filling up the application.
The Common Eligibility Test application is for regular M.Phil / Ph.D. (Full time/Part time) admission programmes for the academic year 2014-15 (September 2014 / April 2015 Sessions ) offered in the University Departments/Affiliated Colleges and Recognized Research Institutions.

It is NOT for CATEGORY-B stream.

Application form and Instructions for Common Eligibility Test can be downloaded from the University website: (www.b-u.ac.in)

The candidate should write Common Eligibility Test only on the PG Subject studied.

The Mark of Common Eligibility Test is valid for One Year Only.

The candidate should send the filled in application along with :
1. Demand Draft of Rs.500/- as application fee ( Rs.250/- for SC/ST candidates on Production of attested copy of community certificate) in favour of The Registrar, Bharathiar University payable at Coimbatore. (Mention the candidates name & Subject on back side of the Demand Draft)

2. Two Nos of Self addressed stamped covers ( in each cover forty Rupees(Rs.40) stamp to be affixed)

NOTE: The print out of the application along with the above said documents should be sent
BY POST on or before 06.06.2014 in a closed envelope superscribed as “APPLICATION FOR M.Phil / Ph.D. COMMON ELIGIBILITY TEST 2014-15” addressed to the Coordinator of CET, Department of Physics, Bharathiar University, Coimbatore -641 046.

* UGC / CSIR-NET/SET/GATE/M.Phil. Qualified/ Teacher Fellowship holders need not appear for Common Eligibility Test (CET).
