IIITM-K invites the applications from suitable candidates for the post of Senior Software Engineer, Project Associates (Android), Project Associates, Trainee- Video Editor under various Agricultural Informatics projects of the institute. The appointment will be purely on contract basis for a period of one year.

1. Name of the post : Senior Software Engineer (On contract)
No. of post : 2 Posts (PLANSPACE Project -1, Crop Pest Surveillance project -1)
Job Code No: SSE-01/2014
Experience Required (Essential): 7 years of solid experience in Java, J2EE, Struts, Spring.
No. of posts: 2 (PLANSPACE Project -1, Crop Pest Surveillance Project – 1)
Essential Qualification: First Class B-tech/PGDIT/M.Tech/ MSc Comp.S/ MCA/ MSc- IT/ MSc GIS /MSc CS with minimum seven years of solid experience in developing web applications in Java/J2EE /MySQL/ORACLE/XML environment.
Salary : Rs. 30, 000 per month (Consolidated)
Experience: The candidate should have minimum Seven Years of solid experience on the design and development of complex web applications using Java/J2EE. Preference will be given the candidates who worked in framework like J2EE, Struts or Spring etc. This will be a senior level post and the candidate should have excellent communication / documentation skills and the ability to lead a group of Developers and Project Associates

2. Name of the post : Project Associate – Android Development (Pest Surveillance Project)

Essential Qualification: First class B.Tech/MSc CS/GIS/ Computational Sciences/ MCA/ MSc-IT with one year of solid experience in developing and deployment of Android based applications.
Salary: Rs. 12,000 per month (Consolidated)
Experience: minimum one year of solid experience on developing Android based applications.

3. Name of the post : Project Associate – (Pest Surveillance Project)
Job Code No: PA-03/2014
No. of posts: 2
Essential Qualification: First class B.Tech/MSc CS/GIS/ Computational Sciences/ MCA/ MSc-IT with experience in developing and deployment of Android based applications.
Salary: Rs. 12,000 per month (Consolidated)
Experience: minimum one year of solid experience on developing Android based applications

4. Name of the post : Trainee Audio/Video- Editor (Kissan Kerala Project)

Essential Qualification: Diploma/certificate in Multimedia/ Animation/ Video Editing/ Graphic Designing from a recognized institute.
Salary:Rs. 8000 per Month (Consolidated)
