I am nominated to directorate of school education (second list). I deposited the PVR form on the first half of March and still no news of police verification. Is there anybody from the same department? Is the police verification started? Please help me
Did you get a call from your local police station? The local DIB office generally calls you to come and submit all your documents for verification. Till that happened your police verification has not yet started. Police verification takes more time if your place of birth or education is outside your home district or outside the state. Say around 3-4 months if you are lucky. If everything is within your home district it should not take more than a month. The Apr’15 Municipal elections has also delayed the proceedings a lot. Hope this helps you.
Be patient. Majority of the first list nominated candidates are waiting for PVR to complete and getting the joining letter.
I have heard that writers land dept has got permission from higher authority to recruit wbssc land nominated candidates. But as notification, municipal election has been issued that dept has sent a letter to election commission seeking approval of recruitment right now. Is it true?
Just got news that the L&LR department has got the nod from the election commission. So lets hope that appointments will follow soon.

You can ask the office from which the letter was issued for which district?
You have every rights to know about the case which is stopping your appointment.
However I have heard rumors that the case has been solved. Now once the medical and PVR is done appointment will be given soon and cannot vouch for it though as I have heard only rumors!!

I got the letter for required medical test and filling up of verification for the PVR just today i.e 25.03.2015. Although I am a candidate of the first list and nominated for the post of LDA in Land & Land Reform dept but in the letter it has mentioned that appointment letter would be issued after the disposal of court case O.A. No. 9549/2008 & CCP 55/14. But I have no idea about that court case as a matter of fact. Would you tell me what is the subject of that case and whether it could affect our appointment although we have been selected by WBSSC?

Calcutta high court has given an order on increments of salary structures dated 9 Feb.

The court case has not been resolved yet. Why are you asking about salary now? It was clearly mentioned in the Examination notice published by WBSSC way back in Aug’13. I hope you read that before applying for the examination.
If you don’t pass the departmental examination you might be shown the door else you might be given another chance. If you are from 3M then you might not have to give the examination at all.
Hi All L&LR nominated candidates,
Please do not relax on getting medical and PVR forms from the dept.
It does not ensure us the job. Please read carefully. Below is an extract of a letter send by a high ranked official of the dept. to the respective districts dated 29.12.2014
“In this connection it is made clear that the respective districts will issue appointment letters only after disposal of court cases having O.A. No-9549/2008 & C.C.P 55/14. But in the meantime, they may take up works of Medical & PVR so that appointment may be issued after disposal of court cases without much loss of time.”
So it is clear that nothing will happen till the above mentioned court cases are resolved favorably. You can well imagine one of the case is from the year 2008…it is going on for 7 years!!!!
This also proves that the WBSSC chairman is lying when he says that it is a recent case. They knew well before about the case and yet they nominated us in this department.
The dept. is also lying when they are saying that the cases will be quickly resolved….in reality they do not have a clue when the cases will be disposed. They are doing the medical and PVR just to buy some time.
It is time we wake up from our satisfied slumber of securing a govt. job and fight for our rights.

Right friend absolutely right. I am very tensed about our situation. Nobody for our help. wbssc chairman is busy in tweeter but he is not thinking for our future. He only says one thing that our work ends with nomination then on which ground he nominated us in l&r dept? what was wrong with him? He nominated us in such case ridden dept what was our mistake if he knows the situation earlier we the 900 candidates were seen to him to do that blunder mistake. Despite good rank we are waiting and lower ranked getting job. Wbssc and land dept must do a final solution as early as possible as we cant wait further. It is the matter concerned with our Future otherwise last option is filing case against whole recruitment of wbssc ldc will be favorable.
There is no fault of us then why should we have to pay for that other should also have to pay it is the matter of our future. l&r dept should do a final decision very soon. l&r minister MamtaBanerjee should interfere in this probhlem. wbssc&l&r dept writers buildiing should do something good for the future of land dept.

All l&r friends countdown has begun 31st December is on the way. Land department has assured us the problem will be solved. Now time has started to build a huge pressure on l&r dept and on wbssc. Regularly visit writers and ask them for our future. I will also come from Durgapur and will visit writers. If we become silent then there will be no result and other dept candidate get job and will follow wait and watch rule. Dear friends it is the right time to make our demands otherwise it will be late. Other dept candidates are requesting us not to file case against wbssc and writers. I ask only one question that other dept candidates will give us their job then why they stopping us because they know if we file case whole recruitment will be halted and they will also suffer. Friends we the land reforms dept nominated candidates are in danger. The whole dept is playing with you. First they told us to contact them after 15 days then they told us to contact after 20th December. Next they are telling to contact on 31st December. Meanwhile I heard the rumor that land dept will issue pvr and medical form and conduct the pre appointment formalities though I am not sure about the info. If nothing is solved within December we are going to lodge a case against both wbssc and dept to stall the whole recruitment. wbssc chairman is telling a lie constantly to save his skin. He told us it is a die in harness case but they are telling it is not die in harness court case but a case related to 2007 ldc recruitment. My question is if wbssc knew a court case was already pending how they can nominate candidates in that dept or how dept can report such huge vacancies to wbssc. Friends it is do or die situation be united.
According to SSC they will solve quickly. But if any one file case then it will take years to solve the problem. So friends think before taking those steps.

Very sorry state of affairs. The govt. claims to be concerned about the unemployed but in reality it is taking advantage of the abysmal employment situation in the state.
Legitimate candidates ranked high in the nomination list have to wait and lower ranked candidates nominated in other departments will get the job. Happens only in West Bengal perhaps!!!
Absolutely right, how can this happen!!! Now WBSSC has gone forward and published the 2nd nomination list. How can they do that when they know that the fate of majority of the candidates in their first nomination list depends on some court case. Lower ranked candidates are getting jobs in other depts. where as we higher ranked candidates have to wait for eternity as we were pushed to the case ridden LR dept.
We should move jointly against such high handed attitude of WBSSC and the govt.
Dear friend don’t hit the axe on your own feet. I have also got nomination in the l&r dept. One of my friend got nomination in the directorate of school education. they still have not got their appointment. I have also visited the wbssc office last Monday and they had told me not to get panic and wait till the mid of January. So please think deeply before taking any serious step otherwise we all will have to suffer the consequences. Nothing will happen to either wbssc or govt of west bengal

If we sit idle and believe WBSSC we will be sitting idle for the rest of our lives. Till now I have got very few correct information from the newly formed commission. I too have friends nominated in other departments. Their appointment process has started issuing of pvr forms and medical etc. whereas we LR nominated candidates are waiting for the verdict of some court case in which we are not a party to. The mid of January was 20th December before. When you ask them on mid Jan the date will become mid of Feb. There is no end to this story. It will keep on rolling. Enough of wait and watch. If somebody has to suffer for the court case let all the candidates suffer. Why only LR nominated candidates. I didn’t ask for that dept. It was given to me.

I am l&r candidate. I am regularly visiting wbssc &writers. I told that it is our right and you should offer me job otherwise consequences will be hard. I met an advocate to file a case against wbssc ldc whole recruitment process and against writers. Advocate told me that you will win the case because nomination letter in your hand.Advocate told me to wait for December and then file the case he also told it is your right to get job. wbssc is totally responsible for this issue because we have not told to give land dept. Others are getting job and we are waiting what the system is. I am requesting all land candidate to think for their future because today’s passing an exam is very tough. We are very close to our job so don’t lose heart and take action.

I think you should wait for the mid of January. I am also L & LR candidate. Because Govt intentionally creates the problem so that we cant take any legal step and whole recruitment process will be delayed. Think before taking action because we will be the survivor.
Don’t file any case . It is a temporary matter a die in harness case is hanging and it will be solved within months. Don’t go on extreme steps. If you file the case it will take years for you and you will lose all your money during proceedings. Don’t believe advocates as they want money. I said it was not our choice other candidates of other dept are getting why should I wait. One senior official of L & LR Dept. said that they are trying to resolve the case by the end of December 2014 and till that we have to wait. But we all nominated candidate of L & LR should contact regularly to the dept as well as WBSSC because L & LR is not by choice, it is by chance created by WBSSC. But why should we should suffer for their fault?

wbssc should take appropriate decision for the future of l&r candidates
All l&lr nominated candidates are reqestd to unite togethr to fight against the situation created to us. It is not our fault. How is it possible that other nominated candidates get job and l&lr candidate need to wait? It is not fair. File the case for our future.
My rank is within the top 100. I am nominated for the LR dept. I know about at least 3 candidates who are ranked between 400-800 who have got letters from their respective departments. And I have to wait!!
However I had contacted the LR department and a senior official said that there is a minor case and it should not take much time to be disposed. She also said that there is no injunction against new recruitment in the LR dept. in the court verdict. But the WBSSC chairman has tweeted that we have to wait. Don’t know whom to believe.
Now the 2nd list nominations are about to be published which means there will be no more vacancy to accommodate us.

I have heard that there is a case in the Land reforms dept. for which our appointment will be delayed.
LR dept. was not our choice, it was the choice of WBSSC.
So it cannot just wash its hand off and go ahead with the nomination of lower ranked candidates in other departments. Court cases can go on for years in India. Who will pay for our loss in the meantime?
If you ask them they keep on telling all nomination letters are dispatched. How long does it take a letter to reach a place within West Bengal through speed post? Obviously they are not telling the truth.
I have decided to file a case in court and stall the whole recruitment process if need be.

All your anxieties seem to be over at last. Wbssc has published its 1st nomination list at last. Check your luck soon. Its a big lottery for us. Another is waiting. Best of luck. It is a permanent job. But you will have to qualify all the skill tests that will be taken in the 3 years only then you will get benefits like ta da hra or in promotion
Salary will be RS-9000/- only. DA TA HRA will not be given for three years. It is new rules of TMC govt.

They published another advertisement for LDC/Assistants in various dept for SC/ST but till they are silent about LDC/Assistant 2013….!!!!!

Wbssc is not making it clear when they will dispatch appointment letter over phone they are saying the whole process of recruitment will be completed within September but in person they are saying it cannot be told surely when the process will complete. Too much delay leaves us in doubt what is going under the carpet.

I had visited the WBSSC office in person to ask.
I was told that department allocation will be posted on the website within 2 months after completion of DV. Then the appointment letters will be issued by the concerned department.
Till now there is no information on their website, God knows when they will send the appointment letters. I am hoping for 2015.

There is no institute which gives computer typing certificate as per my knowledge. If I do not produce computer typing certificate will they consider me eligible for the post?
But certificate issued from a reputed organization regarding typing in computer at the speed of not less than 35 words per minute in English is one of the documents necessary for DV
