RASHTRIYA MILITARY SCHOOL BANGALORE INVITES APPLICATION FOR ADMISSION TO CLASS XI FOR ACADEMIC SESSION 2014 – 2015

Established since pre independence, Rashtriya Military Schools are CBSE affiliated, fully residential institution which function under the aegis of Ministry of Defence. The school prepares student for Senior School Certificate Examination conducted by CBSE and for their entry into Armed Forces as commissioned Officer. Few seats are available for admission in class XI Science Stream. Vacancies availability will be entirely on basis of withdrawals after class X.

Application forms can be obtained from the School by forwarding a Demand Draft drawn in favour of Principal Rashtriya Military School Bangalore for Rs 350/- (Rs 175/- in case of SC/ST) along with the self addressed envelope of size 31 cm x 25 cm and affixed with Rs 60/- stamps, at the address given below:

Eligibility:-
(a) Age : Only boys between 15 to 16 years as on 01 July 14.

(b) Education: The Candidate should have passed Class X from CBSE,Govt recognised School with CGPA between 9 and 10.

(c) On basis of CGPA, few candidates will be called for interview at RMS Bangalore.

(d) Selected candidates will have to undergo medical exam at the Command Zonal and other Military Hospitals as nominated by the Director of Medical Services prior to admission and only those found medically fit will be offered admission.

(e) Application forms will be available wef 25 Apr 2014 and last date for submission of filled in application is 05 Jun 14.
