Voice of L&T Contest 2014 :
** L&T in association with Shankar Mahadevan Academy is organizing a, “Voice of L&T – 2014” Contest to identify the singing talent of L&T employees and their immediate family members.
** You can enroll for the contest by enrolling into any of the courses offered by the Academy.
** On successful completion of payment, you will be asked to enter the Zone which will then automatically register you for “Voice of L&T – 2014” contest.

Contest Highlights:
Entry only to L&T Employees and their immediate family members

1st Round : Online Auditions
Online Auditions : 6th May to 6th June, 2014
** Music Categories of Contest Entry for first round : Film Songs (Any language), Carnatic & Hindustani
** You can sing songs either in two different languages or two different genres which should not include background music or instrumentals and no studio recordings for round 1.
** Best contestants from each zone will be selected for 2nd round.

2nd Round : Zonal Round
** Depending on the number of the best selected contestants from each zone, each zone contestants will compete against each other at their respective zonal centers.
** This audition will be in person and it is mandatory for the selected contestant to perform in person. Absence of the contestant in this round will not be considered for the Grand finale.
** Top contestants who qualify in Zonal Auditions will be part of Grand Finale.

3rd Round : Grand Finale
The best contestants selected from Zonal audition (Round 2) will compete for the Title Winner prize ‘Voice of L&T – 2014’

Terms & Conditions :
Participants need to upload 2 songs either in two different languages or two different genres which should not include background music or instrumentals and no studio recordings.

For online upload :
File size should not exceed 15MB
Acceptable file format – mp3, wma

Important :
** The maximum duration of the performance should not exceed 6 minutes and minimum is 2 minutes.
** Performance should not include background music or Instrumentals (No studio recordings)
** Academy will consider only first submission from an individual for evaluation purposes.
** Participants need to ensure that they upload the correct file. No requests for changing the file that is submitted initially will be entertained.
** Any complaints related to the feedback will be addressed according to the discretion of the Academy.
** The academy is not liable to refund the cost of expert feedback once payment has been made.

Note :
The dates for the different rounds of the competition will be communicated to you from time to time.

Note :
