Admission 2014 :
Information on admission procedures for undergraduate and post-graduate degree programmes
(Online Application Programme for Various Undergraduate and Post-graduate Degree Programmes)
(Online application is open till 5.00 pm of June 30, 2014)

Candidates must apply online by registering and logging on to the university’s website www.aau.ac.in. The site has been designed in a user-friendly way to help candidates to apply Online in a step by step basis.

Please go through the INFORMATION BULLETIN before registering :
** Download the Information Bulletin and read it carefully before filling up the Online Application form.
** Students must register themselves before filling up the Application form for any Degree Course under the University.
** There are 3 steps in filling the Application Form — (a) Register yourself, (b) Pay the required Application Fee using the downloaded Challan at a nearby SBI branch, and (c) Fill in the Application Form online
** Applicants who registered for Veterinary Entrance Test (VET 2014) and paid the fees through challan need not pay again and can go to the 3rd step directly and Fill in the Application Form.
** Applicants who registered for Veterinary Entrance Test (VET 2014) but did not pay the required fee must Register again for filling up the form.

Step 1 – Registration :
** Read the Information Bulletin carefully before registration. The information given in the Registration Form cannot be changed afterwards. It cannot be corrected /modified by the Office.
** Upload scanned photograph and signature (Dimension of photograph should be 3cm x 4cm with size maximum 35 kb and minimum 20kb. The Dimension of signature should be 3cm x 1cm with size maximum 30kb and minimum 15kb. The photograph and signature should be either in ‘.jpeg’ or ‘.jpg’ format).
** The Registration will be completed only after uploading Photograph and Signature.
** Upon successful registration, the Applicant should be able to see his/her photograph and signature. Applicants should note down the Registration No., Username and Password. He/She will require all these three credentials for future Login.
** Applicant shall receive a confirmation message with the credentials in the Registered Mobile Number.
** Please note that if candidates commit any mistake in filling the online Registration, it cannot be corrected by this office. The Office will take no responsibility of any kind for such forms. The candidate can Register afresh.

Step 2 – Payment of Fee :
** Login with the Registration ID, Username and Password and Download/Print the Challan.
** Pay Rs 500.00 at any branch of State Bank of India through the printed challan. Please ensure with the Bank employee that the remittance is made in the name of the Applicant. This is not required for those who have already paid for VET 2014.
** Update the Journal No. given on the Challan logging in with login credentials within 2 days of Payment to the Bank.
** Applicant should receive a message of the receipt of payment.

Step 3 – Fill in the Application Form :
** If the fee is verified to be received by the Bank, the applicants will be able to fill in the application form by logging in with their Login Credentials.
** The applicants appearing the VET 2014 will login to fill in the Application Form.
** Applicants can fill or edit entered data in the form for any number of times and save the data. PLEASE NOTE : Do not Finalize the Application Form till all the information are correctly entered. The Application Form cannot be edited after Finalization.
** Finalize the Application Form if all Information are correctly entered.
** Application can be submitted online from June 2, 2014 to June 30, 2014.
** The system will also generate a label bearing the correspondence address and a BARCODE. The candidates are required to take a print out of the label and paste it on an A4 sized envelope, and send the confirmation sheet along with required documents by Registered/ Speed Post to the Registrar, Assam Agricultural University, Jorhat 785 013.

The printed copy of the Acknowledgement Sheet along with supporting documents should reach the Registrar, Assam Agricultural University, Jorhat 785013 on before June 30, 2014. Documents received after the prescribed last date will not be considered.
