MHCET-2014 – Counselling & Preference Form Filling Process :
MH-CET 2014 – ADMISSION PROCESS :
This Notification is being issued in regard to the process of selection and admissions to be granted to the 1st year of undergraduate Health Science Courses for the Academic Year 2014-2015, pursuant to the Common Entrance Test (MH-CET 2014) conducted by Govt. of Maharashtra on 08.05.2014. The procedure set out hereunder will apply to selection of candidates to be admitted at the following institutions : –
(A) All State Government Colleges;
(B)All Municipal Corporation Colleges;
(C) All State Government aided colleges;
(D) 85% seats in Private Homoeopathic Medical Colleges in the State. (As per orders of Hon’ble High Court, Mumbai in Review Petition No. 8634 of 2007 in Writ Petition No. 6332 of 2005).
(E) Such other colleges and/or such number of seats from other colleges which may by mutual consent be decided to form part of this admission process.

The “Preference Form Information Brochure” is available on DMER website.This Information Brochure contains the information required by candidates for filing preference form, for the purpose of seeking admission. It includes General instructions to the candidates for filing preference form, method of scrutiny of documents, method of selection and admission. As a matter of guidance, the information regarding SML No. of candidate last admitted thorugh DMER NEET 2013 in various courses (regionwise) for the academic year 2013-2014 is privided. A dummy preference form is also included which can be used by the candidate for practicing a preference form. The candidate should attend the preference form filling processs as per the schedule set out hereunder at the Regional Centres. Kindly note that the preference form in the Information Brochure is not original or final and is only a dummy preference form provided for practice.

Candidates should download the Information Brochure from website www.dmer.org from 16.06.2014. Copy of information brochure will not be provided to candidate at the time of counselling.

Candidates should carefully go through the entire Information Brochure and follow the instructions for further course of selection and admission. Kindly note that noncompliance with any of the provisions set out in the Information Brochure will result in rejection of claim for admission.

On the scheduled dates and at the scheduled sessions, the candidates in accordance with their S.M.L. No., are required to attend in person, the counseling at the respective Regional centers as set out in Table 1 below.

Pre-printed preference forms with the particulars of each and every candidate set out hereunder, will be made available to each of the candidates at the aforesaid Regional Centres. The preference form has preprinted name, roll no, SML No, category etc, information in it and it is scanable. The candidates are hereby called upon to report on the date specified in the following Table and the Sessions set out there under in accordance with their S.M.L. No.

All the candidates (including Constitutional and Specified Reservation i.e. SC, ST, VJ, NT1, NT2, NT3, OBC ; and D1,D2, D3, HA and MKB) from SML No. 1 to 4110 on their respective date and time schedule.

All the candidates should note that on 20.06-2014 & 21-06-2014 only reserve (Constitutional) category candidates are called as per their State Merit List No, Open category candidates should not attend the preference form filling process on 20.06.2014 & 21.06.2014. Open category candidates having SML NO. beyond 4110 are not called for this Preference Form filling process.

The candidate must report to the respective Regional Centre personally (proxy will not be permitted), as set out in Table no.1 at the specified time and date set out in Table no.2 above, alongwith all the relevant documents in terms of the Information Brochure. Only one parent will be allowed along with the candidate. It is made hereby clear that if the relevant documents are not produced by the candidates at the time of counseling, claim will not be granted.

Note :
For counselling between 17th June,2014 to 21st June,2014, all the candidate upto 50% marks and constitutional reservation candidates upto 40% marks have been called. These candidates can fill all the preferences as shown in preference brochure. Counselling for candidates beyond SML No. 4110 from open category and candidates beyond SML No. 8096, will be carried out in due course.

All the candidates called as per this notification for the preference form filling process must note that they will not be permitted again for the preference form filling process to be conducted by the Competent Authority in due course.
