Applications for Admission in the following courses are invited from eligible candidates in the prescribed format along with the application fee on or before 20th June 2014

01 Course Name : M.Phil Programme in Social Sciences
No. of seats : Total 55 Seats (48 Institutional + 2 under Dr. Ambedkar Chair with Fellowship and 5 Seats without fellowships to be filled up by sponsored candidates)s
Eligibility Criteria : Post Graduate Degree in any subject from a recognized University under faculties of Social Sciences, Education, Law, Women & Child Development in the Faculty of Home Sciences, and Philosophy in the faculty of humanities, with a minimum of 55% Marks and 50% for SC/ST candidates.

2. Course Name : M.A.(Sociology)
No. of seats : 50 Seats
Eligibility Criteria : Bachelors’ Degree from Recognized University

3 Course Name : M.A.(Rural Development and Extension)
No. of seats : 50 Seats
Eligibility Criteria : Bachelors’ Degree from Recognized University

4 Course Name : M.S.W.
No. of seats : 50 Seats
Eligibility Criteria : Bachelors’ Degree from Recognized University

Selection Procedure :
1. Admissions to the M.Phil programme in Social Sciences will be made through Entrance Test which will be held on 22nd June 2014 from 10.00 A.M to 01.00 PM at (1) Govt, PG Girls College, Kothi Compound Rewa, (2) Chanakya National Law University, Naya Nagar, Meethapur, Patna (3) Dr. Ambedkar College, Deekshabhumi, Nagpur (4) Rajiv Gandhi Chair, Deptt. of Sociology, Barkatullah University Bhopal (5) MLB Arts & Commerce College, Prossession Road, Lashkar City Gwalior, (6) Montessory Inter College, Near Sadar Rly Crossing Lucknow (7) Institute of Social Science, 8, Nelson Mandela Road, Vasant Kunj, New Delhi (8) Govt.Chhattisgarh College, Bayron Bazar, Raipur, (9) National Institute of Rural Development, Rajendra Nagar, Hydrabad. (10). Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar National Institute of Social Sciences, Dr. Ambedkar Nagar, Mhow.
2. Admissions to the PG courses at Sl. No. 2, 3 & 4 will be given directly after screening-cum-counselling on 7th July 2014 and 8th July for M.Phil. Hostel facility will be provided to the possible extent for outsider

Fee : The application fees of Rs. 500/- for General and Rs. 200/- for SC/ST candidate may deposit on line at the website onlinesbi.com or enclose Demand Draft for each course in favor of Registrar, Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar National Institute of Social Sciences, payable at State Bank of India, Dr. Ambedkar Nagar (Mhow) Town Hall Branch Code No- 30023.

How to Apply :
i) The application form can also be downloaded from Institute websites

ii) The attested copies of all certificates and self addressed envelope of size 9 x 4 must be attached with the application.

iii) The application can be sent by post on Institute’s address or can be submitted personally on or before the last date i.e. 20th June 2014 for M.Phil programme only.

Note : Those appearing for final year examination of Post Graduation may also appear/apply for M.Phil. Programme in Social Sciences, however, they have to produce Mark-sheet at the time of admission i.e. up to 30th July, 2014

  1. I want to ask that I am from Delhi I filled the center name Vasant Kunj Nelson Mandela for entrance exam. So if I went for exam on Sunday without any call letter will they allow me to sit? I mean what we have prove for sitting in exam.
