Admission to BA, LLB (HONS.) PROGRAMME at Chennai Campus (2014 – 2015) :
Overview :
VIT Law School offers 5 year integrated B.A., LL.B (Hons.) programme wherein subjects that fall under the domain of Arts and Law subjects are offered to the students. The faculty of Law can never be studied in isolation as Law plays a major role in all the facets of our life. The curriculum of the Arts subjects such as Economics, Sociology, Psychology, Political Science have been designed to have maximum interaction with law which would guide the students in application of law in the real world. Specialised Honours has also been offered so that the student can choose his/ her branch and expand her knowledge on the subject.
Eligibility: Minimum of 60% (overall) in Senior Secondary School examination (+2) or equivalent. Minimum percentage for SC/ST category candidates shall be 55% (overall). Candidates shall have appeared in either LSAT or CLAT.
Age limit: The candidate should not be above the age of 20 years as on 01/07/2014
Application procedure: Application can be obtained from VIT admissions office at Vellore & Chennai on payment of Rs. 600/- by cash (or) DD drawn in the name of “VIT University” payable at “Vellore” to be sent to Director PG admissions (or) Candidates can also apply online.
Selection process: The selection process will be on the basis of merit. The students will be screened based on the CLAT / LSAT scores they have obtained. The candidates who are shortlisted shall be called for a group discussion and an interview which shall be conducted by a Board constituted for the same.

Special Fees [Inclusive of Examination, Library Fee etc] [per annum] : 9,000
Total fees (per annum) : 99,000

I appeared in CLAT and got 50.25 score but want to take admission in vit 5 year but my financial condition is poor. So can I please get any scholarship in your institution so that my fees can be reduced.

Admission to B.Tech. Degree Programme is based on VIT Engineering Entrance Examination (VITEEE) conducted all over India and also in abroad.
Procedure of admission :
Advertisement given regarding issue of application forms, important dates etc., in all leading newspapers all over India and notified in the VIT website.
Applications can be obtained from selected Post Offices or obtained by post from VIT or obtained through online.
VITEEE is conducted in major cities all over India and also in abroad.
Publication of results in leading websites.
Call for counselling in batches and allotment of branches on the basis of the VITEEE rank.
