* 5% of the total 35 seats in Govt. College of Teacher Education, Thycaud shall be filled from the teachers working in Govt/Aided Institutions (LP/UP/H.S/H.S.E /V.H.S.E and Colleges) as per the overall merit.
* Children of Fishermen shall be considered to have the same privileges as enjoyed by SC/ST candidates.

Eligibility for Admission:
1 Candidates seeking admission to M.Ed programme for affiliated colleges must possess a B.Ed Degree of the University of Kerala or any other B.Ed Degree recognized as equivalent thereto by the University of Kerala, with a minimum of 55% marks in aggregate provided the candidate has a UG/PG Degree in the Elective subject chosen for M.Ed Degree Course.
2 However, candidates opting for Commerce Education should possess B.Ed Degree in Commerce (55% marks) and M.Com Degree (50% marks) of the University of Kerala or the M.Com Degree recognized by the University of Kerala.

How to Apply :
i) Application form, format of Hall-Ticket and Prospectus can be down loaded from the website.

ii) The duly filled in applications with relevant documents, self addressed stamp envelope and University pay-in-slip for Rs.500/- + Rs.20/- (Rs.250/- + Rs.20/- for SC/ST students) (Registration fees and Application fees) or DD for Rs.510/- + Rs.20/- (Rs.260 + Rs.20/- for SC/ST students) drawn in favour of the Finance Officer, University of Kerala drawn from SBT or State/ District Co-operative Banks payable at Thiruvananthapuram should be sent to ;
