Required skills include ability to perform in-depth analysis of the requirements specifications, modeling the solution with a right choice of tools and technologies in the enterprise software arena, formulating the system & life-cycle specification documents, and module level break-ups of the proposed solutions. Must be strong in design and modeling approaches with OOAD, Service Oriented Design approach, UML modeling techniques, Database design and refinement. Development experience in Java / J2EE, Web technologies, XML, JSP and SOAP / other protocols and implementing knowledge of at least an interface is a must. Knowledge of OS concepts / internals and experience in system-level programming are required.

Qualification & Experience:First Class Regular B.E. / B.Tech / MCA in recognized University with Minimum 5 years in the IT industry and into application testing domain. Must have experience in various testing methodologies and techniques, tools (installation, configuration and usage), and hands-on experience in using the tools for test case development and must be experienced in designing test strategies. Must be experienced in various types of testing including black-box, white-box, functional, negative, positive, regression, integration, performance, load, acceptance, compatibility (OS/browser/hardware/backward/version) and system. Experience in participating technical test case / code reviews, mentoring team members on test case development, trouble shooting day-to-day issues faced by testers in the team and should have scripting skills. Should be familiar with all the phases of Software Test life cycle and a service oriented mindset for application testing is an advantage. Testing experience in testing at least two tools like WinRunner / Load Runner / XStudio/ Robot/ Anteater / jWebUnit / JUnit / Marathon / JFunct. Knowledge of OS concepts / internals is desired.
