** Maintain a thorough knowledge of all cuts, keeping them updated with latest scans/comps
** Maintain shot and VFX databases
** Have an expert understanding of all editorial tools
** Client deliveries
** Liaise with cutting rooms
** Organise and drive dailies sessions and client meetings
** Provide motivation and training for assistants
** Work closely with internal production and artists
** Cut in house reels
** Edit Previs
** Ability to train, encourage and support staff in their team
** Delegate work fairly to encourage a conducive training environment
** Ability to run group training sessions
Needs To Know :
** At least 2-3 years experience working in a VFX Editorial Department
** Demonstrate proficiency in editing using Premiere
** A firm understanding of the VFX process and terminology, LUTS and colour space
** Good understanding of Film and HD video formats, files, frame rates and resolutions
** Encoding/transcoding experience, sound understanding of video codecs and file formats
** Strong problem solving
** Excellent communication (internal teams and external clients)
** Basic Photoshop
** Understand film keycode and its applications
** Premiere
** Final Cut Pro
** Compressor
** DVD Studio Pro
** Shotgun
** 2k playback software, such as Baselight, Framecycler or RV

SENIOR PIPELINE TECHNICAL DIRECTOR :
Department : 3d
Location : Singapore
Reports To: Head of 3D
Needs To Do :
** Vet artist requests for new tools.
** Technical problem solving.
** Support tickets for issues related to main pipe (db), 3D and 2D.
** Tool development for 3d/2d dept normally in python.
** Facilitate the hand-off of new tools and pipeline improvements at the end of production.
** Work with CG Supervisor and R&D/Pipe to address show-specific pipeline needs.
** Create documentation and tutorials for tools and procedures.
** Develop test plans to ensure quality of both show-based and studio-based software.
** Work with artists to improve tool usability.
** Monitor and maintain show’s pipeline.
** Serve as the conduit to Pipe and R&D for reporting and managing tool and pipeline fixes and new releases.
** Makes recommendations and provides solutions to improve quality, efficiency, and workflow.
** Develop new tools and scripts as required by the show.
** Write tool specs to be developed by London pipe team.
** Work with Pipe to maintain, extend, and update pipeline software.
Needs To Know :
** 4+ years of experience as a Pipeline TD.
** Demonstrated ability of analyzing production procedures and solving problems.
** Expert level understanding of the Visual Effects pipeline.
** Expert knowledge and experience with Python and PyQt.
** Intermediate level or better experience with the APIs and use of Maya, Nuke and/or Houdini
** Excellent troubleshooting and debugging skills.
** Excellent customer service and communication skills.
** Proven ability to work independently and as a lead in team settings.
** Proactive and highly motivated.
** Advanced-level or better knowledge of Linux/UNIX and the command-line shell.

3D SUPERVISOR :
Job Title: 3D Supervisor

Reports To: Creative Director
Needs To Do :
** Provide technical and artistic leadership for cg departments including modelling, texturing, look development, effects and lighting and rendering.
** Set objectives for artists and monitor their progress.
** Interpret the artistic brief from the director / vfx supervisor.
** Take responsibility for the allocation of resources across the show in order to achieve production goals.
** Specify cg pipelines to ensure efficient shot production and supervise their implementation.
** Manage communication between departments.
** Ensure that all work is of a high standard both artistically and technically.
** Work with R&D to specify new tools as required and provide continuing feedback on their effectiveness.
** Manage staff effectively so that they work well in a team and continue to be as effective as possible.
Needs To Know :
** Should have a comprehensive understanding of all areas of CG production including rendering, lighting, scripting and creature setup.
** Must be very familiar with 3D software packages, particularly maya, houdini and prman.
** Knowledge relating to animation and compositing is an advantage.
