Scale of Pay: Rs. 15,600-39,100+6,600/-
Age: Not exceeding 45 years.
Educational & Other Qualifications:
(i) A recognised medical qualification included in the First or the Second Schedule or Part II of the Third Schedule (other than Licentiate qualifications) to the Indian Medical Council Act, 1956 (Act No. 102 of 1956). Holders of qualifications included in Part II of the T hirdSchedule should also fulfil the conditions stipulated in sub-section (3) of section 13 of the Indian Medical Council Act, 1956 (Act No. 102 of 1956).
(ii) Post graduate degree or equivalent in the concerned super-speciality or equivalent. (iii) At least four years teaching/research experience in a recognized Medical College/Teaching Institution after obtaining the qualifying degree of Doctorate of Medicine (D.M.)/Master of Chirurgiae (M.Ch.).
(iv) Knowledge of Konkani. Desirable: Knowledge of Marathi.

(ii) B.E./B.Tech. and M.E./M.Tech. in relevant branch from a recognized University with First Class or equivalent either in B.E./B.Tech. or M.E./M.Tech.
(iii) Minimum 10 years experience in teaching/research/industry out of which at least 5 years shall be at the level of Associate Professor Or
(iii) Minimum 13 years experience in teaching and/or research and/or industry.
(iv) Knowledge of Konkani.

(ii) Good academic record with at least 55% marks or an equivalent Cumulative Grade Point Average at the Master’s Degree level in the relevant subject from an Indian University or an equivalent Degree from a Foreign University and candidates should have cleared the National Eligibility Test (NET) for Assistant Professors conducted by the University Grants Commission, Council for Scientific and Industrial Research, or similar test accredited by the University Grants Commission
(iii) Knowledge of Konkani.
