Application in prescribed format is invited from amongst the Indian citizen for filling up of purely temporary vacancies given below at Krishi Vigyan Kendras under this Viswavidyalaya. The posts are temporary in nature and will continue as long as the KVK will be funded by ICAR.
1.Name of the post : Programme Coordinator / Senior Scientist

Pay Band: Rs.37,400-67,000/- RGP: Rs.9,000/-
Essential Qualification :
a) For discipline other than engineering subject: Doctoral degree in relevant subject including relevant basic sciences with 8 years experience in the relevant subject as Scientist / Lecturer / Extension Specialist or in an equivalent position in the Pay Band III of Rs.15,600-39,100/- with Grade Pay of Rs.5,400/- / Rs.6,000/- / Rs.7,000/- / Rs.8,000/- having made contribution to research / teaching / extension education as evidenced by published works/ innovations and impact.
b) For Engineering discipline: Doctoral degree in relevant engineering subject with 6 years experience as Scientist / Lecturer / Extension Specialist or in an equivalent position in the Pay Band III of Rs.15,600-39,100/- with Grade Pay of Rs.5,400/- / Rs.6,000/- / Rs.7,000/- / Rs.8,000/- having made contribution to research / teaching / extension education as evidenced by published works/ innovations and impact or Master’s Degree in the relevant engineering subject with 10 years experience as Scientist / Lecturer / Extension Specialist or in an equivalent position in the Pay Band III of Rs.15,600-39,100/- with Grade Pay of Rs.5,400/- / Rs.6,000/- / Rs.7,000/- / Rs.8,000/- having made contribution to research / teaching / extension education as evidenced by published works/innovations and impact.
Desirable Qualification : Specialization in implementing extension education programme.
2. Name of the post : Subject Matter Specialist / T6

Pay Band: Rs.15,600-39,100/- Grade Pay: Rs.5,400/-
Essential Qualification :
a) A consistently good academic record with First or high Second Class Master Degree in relevant subject followed by good bachelor degree in Agriculture/Veterinary and Animal Science .
b) Can speak local language fluently.
Desirable Qualification : two years experience of working in KVK or with similar field experience with farming community (to be supported by documentary evidence).
3.Name of the post : Programme Assistant (Laboratory Technician) / T4

Essential Qualification :
a) A consistently good academic record with First or high Second Class Bachelor Degree in Agriculture / Horticulture / Fishery Science/Agril. Engineering.
b) Can speak local language fluently.
Desirable Qualification : At least 1 year experience of working in KVK or with similar field experience with farming community in village (to be supported by documentary evidence).

Essential Qualification :

5.Name of the post : Programme Assistant (Computer) / T4

Essential Qualification :
a) MCA or B.Sc. (Computer Science) or BCA or Graduate in any discipline with PGDCA.
Desirable Qualification : At least 2 years experience in handling agri-based data on computer (to be supported by documentary evidence).
6. Name of the post : Assistant

Essential Qualification : a) Bachelor degree from a recognized university with at least five (5) years continuous experience in the UD scale in KVK/ICAR/Government system.

Essential Qualification : Higher Secondary or equivalent from a recognized board. Certificate in Stenography, typing (@80/40 per minutes) & Computer Operating.
8.Name of the post : Skilled Supporting Staff

Essential Qualification :Matriculation or equivalent from a recognized board.
Desirable Qualification : Minimum 2 years working experience in a reputed organization

i) Application Forms are available in the Office of the Directorate of Extension Education, BCKV, Mohanpur, Nadia from 11 am to 4 pm on every working days on submission of Rs.500.00 for post in serial no. 1, Rs.300.00 for post in serial no. 2, Rs.200.00 for post in serial no. 3 to 7 and Rs.100.00 for post in serial no. 8.
ii) Application forms may be collected in person by deposit of cash or Download application form from the university website along with application fees in Bank Draft drawn in favour of Bidhan Chandra Krishi Viswavidyalaya payable at Kalyani. SC/ST candidates are to pay 1/4th of the prescribed fee.
