MHCET 2014-2015 :
Government of Maharashtra shall conduct “Common Entrance Test” MH-CET-2014 for Health Sciences degree courses (MBBS, BDS, BAMS, BHMS, BUMS, BPTh, BOTh, BASLP, BP&O and BSc. Nursing courses) for the academic year 2014-2015. The said Common Entrance Test will be held on Thursday, 8th May 2014.

ELIGIBILITY FOR ADMISSION TO HEALTH SCIENCE DEGREE COURSES :
The candidate must be an Indian National. Persons of Indian Origin (PIO)/ Non Resident Indian (NRI)/Overseas citizen of India (OCI) are not eligible. (Exception: Annexure “J”).

The candidate must be born on or before 31st December 1997 to be eligible to appear for MHCET- 2014. However, for admission to Ayurved and Unani courses, candidate must be born on or before 1st October 1997. The Birth certificate indicating name of the candidate, Secondary School Certificate i.e. SSC or equivalent examination certificate or School Leaving Certificate endorsing the date of birth will constitute a valid proof.

For MBBS/BDS/BAMS/BUMS :
A candidate belonging to Open Category must have obtained not less than 50% (i.e. 150 out of 300) marks in Physics, Chemistry and Biology taken together at the HSC (or equivalent) Examination. A candidate belonging to constitutional reservation (Annex. B) and constitutional reservation with Person with Disability claim must have obtained not less than 40% (i.e. 120 out of 300) marks in Physics, Chemistry and Biology taken together at the HSC (or equivalent) Examination. Person with Disability in General category must secure not less than 45% marks in Physics, Chemistry & Biology (PCB) taken together at the HSC (or equivalent) Examination.

For B Sc. Nursing – A candidate belonging to Open category must have obtained not less than 45% marks in Physics, Chemistry, Biology and English taken together at HSC (or equivalent) examination. A candidate belonging to constitutional reservation (Annex. B) must have obtained not less than 40% marks in Physics, Chemistry, Biology and English taken together at HSC(or equivalent) Exam.

ONLINE APPLICATION FORM & INFORMATION BROCHURE :
The information brochure for MH CET 2014 is available on web site “dmer.org”. Candidate is advised to download and print the brochure. For submission of online application form the candidates should login “www.mhcet2014.co.in” website. The detail procedure for online submission of application form & registration is as follows.

Procedure for MHCET 2014 Registration and payment through State Bank of India (SBI) branches
A candidate has to first register for MHCET 2014 at “mhcet2014.co.in” and only then he / she can make the payment at the branches of SBI.

MHCET 2014 Registration:
In order to register online, the candidate has to visit the website “www.mhcet2014.co.in” and click MHCET 2014 Registration. The MHCET2014 Registration page opens up wherein he/she has to fill-in the online form. The information to be provided includes personal details and uploading of your recent colour passport photograph and signature.

Filling of online application form:
The candidate will be prompted to enter his/her valid email id, mobile No. and a password on the first login. All these three must be carefully noted and retained by the candidate for all future correspondence with MHCET Office, downloading MHCET Admit card etc. The candidate can continue and complete his/ her filling up of educational details.

TO UPLOAD PHOTOGRAPHS AND SIGNATURES :
Please note that all the applicants are required to upload their scanned/digital recent colour photograph and signature. File size of each of the Photograph and Signature should not be more than 50 KB per file. The online application system will not allow to upload files larger than 50 KB. All Candidates have to upload his/ her Photograph and Signature only in “Jpeg” format and file name of Photograph and signature should preferably be photo.jpeg and sign.jpeg respectively.

Last date of submission of certificate/(s) for Additional Weightage Claim at the Office of Competent Authority, Mumbai (For Health Science Courses Only). : 16/05/2014
Online display of Question Paper Booklets of each version on website : 20/05/2014
Online Display of Provisional Keys of each version on website : 22/05/2014
OMR Answer Sheets will be available on website : 26/05/2014
Last date of submission of objections on Question Paper/Answer Key/Typographic errors. : 27/05/2014 to 30/05/2014
Declaration of Provisional Result/Marks : On or before 14/06/2014
Last Date of Submission of Application form for Verification of Marks at office of the Divisional authority with prescribed fee (Place – Mumbai, Pune, Miraj, Dhule, Aurangabad, Nanded, Nagpur & Akola) : within 4 days of declaration of result
Declaration of Merit List on or before : 25/06/2014
Downloading of Marksheet from website : 26/06/2014 to till the last date of filling up of preference form.

    1. Each question with correct response shall be awarded four (4) marks. There shall be negative marking. For wrong an swers there will be deduction of one mark per question. One mark shall be deducted for marking two or more answers of same question, scratching or overwriting
