Uranium Corporation of India Limited (UCIL), a Public Sector Enterprise under the administrative control of the Department of Atomic Energy invites applications from suitable candidates for engagement as Apprentice in accordance with the provision of the Apprentice Act, 1961. The requirement for engagement as Apprentice is as under

Name of the post : Apprentice (Laboratory Assistant)

Age limit as on 28.02.2014 : UR-25 yrs; ST-30 yrs

Minimum Qualification : I.Sc. or 10+2 with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics as main subjects. Minimum 60% marks for UR candidates and 55% marks for ST candidates.

Terms and Conditions : The duration of training will be of 03(three) years. Selection of the candidates will be through Written Test/Interview at the discretion of the management. Trainees not absorbed by the Corporation will be given a Certificate on successful completion of training without any obligation on the part of the Company for any future employment.

Consolidate monthly stipend : The monthly consolidated stipend during Apprenticeship period will be as under :
1. Rs.2100/- during Ist year of training
2. Rs.2400 during IInd year of training
3. Rs.2800/- during IIIrd year of training

Medical Examination : Before engagement as apprenticeship, the shortlisted candidate will have to undergo initial medical examination and subject to be found fit by the Company’s Medical Officer as per the Medical Attendance Rules of the company.
