Doctoral Degree in relevant field of Agriculture/ Horticulture/Animal Sciences/Fisheries including relevant basic sciences with four years experience of high quality post-doctoral research in an institution of repute evidenced by publication in high impact/ renowned journals.

Educational Qualification :
(a) The minimum educational qualifications for the post shall be at least second class Master’s degree in Arts/Science/Commerce of a recognized University. The requirements of Master’s degree may be relaxed in case of employees of the University.
(b) A candidate for the post must possesses at least 15 years of experience in administration, preferably in the administration of recognized Educational/Research Institutions or organizations, out of which 5 years should be in a responsible and supervisory capacity.

The minimum educational qualification of the candidates shall be at least 2nd class Master degree in Library band Information Science of a recognized University with knowledge of computer application Or
At least 2nd class master’s degree or equivalent CGPA in Arts/Science /Commerce/ Agriculture / Vety. Science/ Home Science with at least 2nd class Bachelor degree in Library Information Science from a recognized University.
UGC: Educational Qualification :
(a) Bachelor degree in any field of study
(b) Master’s degree in Library and Information Science of a recognized University with at least 55% marks or its equivalent grade of B (Grade Point 3.50-4.49) in UGC seven point scale.
(c) 5 years service experience as Assistant Librarian (senior scale, with AGP of Rs.7000)/ Documentation Officer in a University Library or 15 years of professional experience in a University Library system.
(d) Evidence of initiative and ability to plan, organize, administer in a library.
(e) A minimum score as stipulated in the ‘Academic Performance Indicator’ (API) Score Card Guideline prescribed for Direct Recruitment of Library Professional Staff in AAU to be called for interview.

CPC : The minimum educational qualification of the candidate shall be Bachelor’s degree in any discipline with Bachelor’s degree in Library & Information Science of a recognized University with knowledge of computer applications followed by at least High second Class (55% marks or equivalent grade point) Master’s degree in Library & Information Science of a recognized University.
UGC: Educational Qualification :
(a) Bachelor’s degree in any field of study.
(b) Master’s degree in Library and Information Science of a recognized University with at least 55% marks or its equivalent grade of B (Grade point 3.50-4.49) in UGC seven point scale.
(c) Qualified National eligibility Test (NET), NET is not required for disciplines in which NET is not conducted. NET is waived for candidates with Ph.D. degree, provided such degree is obtained under course credit system in accordance with the University Grants Commission (Minimum Standards and Procedures for Award of Ph.D. degree, 2009 Regulation) and the candidate has at least two full length publications in referred journals having ISSN/Impact Factor, on the last date of submission of application. NET is also exempted for regularly appointed in-service candidates of AAU rendering at least 15 years of continuous service.
